I'm a dude and I just bought the lavender and rosr gold one. It's real purty and anybody thinks it's not macho enough can step outside with me. 🤜🏼💥🏥⚰️ A bit more seriously-it's fascinating that phones are so good now that we spend our time on thinking about things like whether they're attractive. I really do love it we can now get them in colors and with a bit of interesting style. The endless parade of slippery black lozenges was getting pretty tedious.

Unless the laptop competition changed significantly the past 2 years I recommend taking a look at hp and dell for that price range More specifically dell's xps laptops and HP's spectre laptops. Don't expect good customer service after the fact though they both are pretty bad from what I remember but then again pretty much every laptop manufacturer is.

What are you going to use it for ?

Using it for school work. Personal use. And computer science classes.

It's tiny when you have a 6.8 LG V60 that cost about the same price and has a lot of features that Samsung "Cut corners" on to supposedly save money.. which is totally BS. It's why the S21+ is a complete rip-off. It is the same exact phone aside from a little bit bigger screen in a bit bigger battery for $200 more. Yet you pay another $200 more than that and then you get the Ultra. But yet it still $1,200.. even Samsung knows that the S21+ is really a rip-off phone Not worth $1000/or $200 More which is why they don't advertise it as much as they do the Ultra An the S21 As well as a lot of reviews. Samsung is really an Apple copycat and I stay away from both.. the only good thing I can say about the phone is they use Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The Samsung S21+ should have been a middle Step Up not just the same thing just a bit bigger.. There are phones out there that has what Samsung calls cut Corner features that are not even $1000.. so really you're pain that extra just to have the Samsung name

Ehh, i used to like saturated colors as well. But once you realize that thats not how it looks in real life you wont want to back. It take a lil to get used to it though.

So what? Yes you loose a little bit of sharpness. But the gains in battery far outweigh the resolution loss imo

Spec to spec wise with my Razer Phone 2, I'd definitely notice all the cut corners and I only paid $400 for this phone 2 years ago and battery life is still good with the higher res at 120hz and quick charge. Bigger screen estate but lower res would be apparent. So to pay more and not even be on par with the res would be a step back for me imo.

Does it have edge lighting? I have the S9 and was thinking of upgrading to the 21.

Yeah I'm not too sure why they downgraded those. They basically turned it into the SE/FE. You essentially have to buy the s21+. I hate when companies force you to buy their huge phones.

That's why I'm buying the S20, its half the price right now and has everything I want!

@@NNTorious Ikr, why they don't just "copy" Apple's strategies (but please not to make similar smartphone) to keep those two brothers without sacrificing to many features like Iphone 12 pro and Iphone 12 pro max..those two don't have any biggest differences there..Samsung did disappointed me when they focused a lot on ULTRA by giving special features than the regular. And yeah, they downgraded a lot because of cost cutting and just able to give a new decent features on S21.. This time i'm not buying them..beautiful design but the specs not impressed me at all

The list of what the S21 can do over the 10e would be to long to list here. If you like the size of the 10e then keep it, it's a good phone!

I upgraded from S9 to the S20 FE and lemme tell you, my experience hasn't changed much, except for the 4500mah battery of the FE. If my S9 didn't start experiencing issues I'd still have it as my phone right now, that was my favorite phone.

I have pre ordered the s21 and it defo is a good upgrade when you compare them both together I have also gotten £220 off trading in the s9 can't wait till Friday next week when I get it having to many problems on my phone these days

This phone is a upgrade in every way over a s9 I've had every galaxy since the beginning. Samsung is giving you more in trade then the s9 is worth it's a no brainier. Trust you'll thank me 😃 if an when you get it

@@cristian-si1gb Outdated software since its not updated as quickly as Pixels and the Only pro in the s10 screen is its higher density pixel count (Which was optional, since it came with 1080p standard)

@@davidlegkodukh6969 No, the S10 didn't come with "1080p standard". All S10 models are 1440p. And the S10 is running the same Android and One UI version as the S21, it literally just received the update. The S10 also has a hybrid SD card / dual Sim slot and a headphone jack.

Haven't seen much of the plus but the ultra I've seen alot of and don't see the point considering the average person won't buy it the base model tends to sell the most

Snapdragon 888 is definitely the way to go. The exynos heats up fast, the performance is not great and the battery life is less compared to the snapdragon’s.

Na exynos ultra beat the snapdragon one in battery performance, they have same performance well almost and I don't know about the heating issue since snapdragon also has heating issues this year.

Exynos seems to have redeemed themselves this year. Snap and Exynos seem to remain equal for now. . .

It is, but the eye comfort shield has an adaptive option on the S21 which doesn't exist on older phones.

The s9 goes up to 30x zoom its been standard for ages and its not called space zoom unless its 100x

@@ssaini5028 it's not though, you can get amazing moon shots at 100x. But the point is even if you don't use 100x, it still means you get way better zoom up to 30x than any other phone. No need to complain.

@@jasonwiltjer9 The moon shots are nice but not usable, its a gimmick. 30X is not usable either its soft and noisy. Optical is the best way to go, here I can give credit to the 10X the Ultra implements.

Same here, I'm in a dilemma, or actually trilemma between this, OnePlus 8 pro and Xiaomi Mi 11. They all have similar price, with OnePlus 8 pro being slightly more expensive. I'll probably go with the OnePlus. Have you made a decision over the past month?

@@alexlarsen6413 I have. Bit the bullet and went with the S21 Ultra instead. Great phone. If you can dish out the cash, I suggest you grab one too. I've tested out the Mi 11, OP 8 Pro, and S21/S21 Ultra. The Mi 11 heats up too much (even just browsing facebook), the S21 is okay but seems "meh". The 8 Pro is great but the cameras are pretty bad for a flagship.

@@vincevicente6606 Thanks for the info. Thing is, I'm never paying over a thousand dollars for a phone. I've said that when the competition wasn't this intense, I'm definitely not going to do it nowadays. Another thing is I'm in Europe and I'm not paying 1200€ for the phone with an inferior exynos chip and nothing but a phone in the box. I don't care that much about the cameras, so I'll either buy the OnePlus 8 pro, or try out the Mi 11 to see what it is like after it gets the MIUI 12.5 update. Snapdragon 888 shouldn't heat up while browsing.

@@alexlarsen6413 I was in the same position a few months then. Was never gonna pay more than a thousand dollars for a phone, probably won't do it again. Although I have no regrets getting the S21, the wife insisted and ended up getting it. 😅 Also, if you're in Europe then better get the O8Pro. Exynos has improved this year but it's still Exynos. I'd take the Snapdragon 865 over it. P.S. The base variant of Oneplus 9 seems like a good choice as well. If I was in your position, I'd probably get that.

Well, they mean in comparison to the Ultra which costs half more. That's the true flagship. If you want it, then buy it. The pixel costs only like 50 less than the S2. They need to keep offering different levels.
