While in update mode, if the cable has a corrupt protocol, this will happen.

As I use ONE UI, I feel familiar with some of those things. I remembered entering Download mode to Downgrade my A10s from ONE UI 3 into ONE UI 2, cause newer ONE UI felt sluggish

On OnePlus/OPPO there's OPSplash, a tool that allows extraction/repacking of the bitmaps in the logo partition, I think Xiaomi has a similar application. I suppose that kind of thing can be done on Samsung too, depending on their partition layout

yeah if you're running a custom rom sometimes it has the tendency to randomly show up. the only way to fix it is by reflashing the original bootloader and ROM using ODIN

Samsung is a Korean company so Korean, and Japanese/Chinese are the two most common foreign languages used in Korea as they are neighboring countries. (There are a lot of Mandarin Chinese speakers too, and well Japan has a big economy...)

Nah just dm verity corruption, can happen if someone relocks the bootloader with modified system partitions, flashes a corrupt update or with a very severe case of virus infection that's probably impossible right now
