We should also keep in mind that S22U has been in the market for more than 3 Quarters and has had time to improve camera on feedback. Would like to see another comparison when S23U comes out.

It amazing that both the camera systems have their own flaws but also their own strengths. Didn't expected improvements in the pixel videos, but also the camera processing issue in human subject. It was detailed as always. 👍

Edge detection has been improved a lot in Samsung phones. S20, S21, and Fan Edition series have also good edge detection on par with similarly priced Xiaomi, One Plus, Realme phones, etc.

*If possible bro, do Pixel 7 pro vs Iphone 14 pro.* Btw, there's no pro-mode in Pixel 7/pro but they're the only one that can do all rear lens switching in 4k60fps. *As we can see here:* Samsung's primary focus is on selfies, portraits, pro-mode, zoom and nature/landscape photography. Pixels strong suite is its HDR, natural colours, detail rendition, night-mode, zoom and even videos in some cases now. iPhones, although not compared here do focus on a few basics like speed, rear portraits and exceptional videos. *Lastly, the Pixel 7 pro is already much cheaper than both of them and will be heavily discounted in future.* Cheers!

Was much closer than I expected. Samsung always had the 10x periscope zoom as it's trump card. But I expected the Pixel to trounce the S22U in low light. But the end result is very close, albeit with a little more noise in S22U videos, but then it does better than the Pixel in stills. Now I feel better about not getting the Pixel. Will stick to the S22U till next year's Pixel. If Google decides to match the periscope zoom level, then I could switch to it, else get the S24U.

I think overall Samsung is better value phone. Pro mode in Samsung will also give the option to save RAW images that can be edited in Lightroom for people who like editing.

You should have said about the more gimmicky features like Fish eye, 360° photo, wide angle, Vertical and Horizontal photos of Pixel. It's present in the "photosphere" in "modes" tab of the camera app

Let's just buy a 25k-30k samsung phone and use it's stock camera for selfie and portrait shots And install a gcam for still shots , night mode and videography 😉

Pixel has improved many times hope they will further improve their phones in future but still s22 ultra is 3 quarters old phone while pixel is newly launched still in many perspective s22 ultra is better than pixel. Pixel produces natural colour on their photos which is no doubt best for the photographers but on the other hand samsung produces slightly boosted colours which is more eye pleasing and feels better and majority normal users likes that. Let's see what samsung does to their next s23 ultra. One more point in my opinion i think in Android smartphones only samsung can give a competition to iphone. Lastly your videos are great as usual, great content.❤️❤️
