13T darker at shadows that how is it in real-life and that's kinda pro photographers ususaly wants. But in pro section you can adjust light mode and ISO to lighten up shadow areas so that's not a downside about 13T it's just different take on photography. 13T offers better contrast cuz while black is black but also green more green and warmer on Xiaomi 13T side. So yes S23 FE lights up dark places but also weak on already lightened places and shows way cooler/grayish tone. Which is not a real-life thing (on sunny days at least). Also 13T has 2 main photographing mode that developed with Leica. 1st one is "Leica Vibrant" which gives a stronger contrast and more popping up vibrant colors and that makes darker areas more blackish. But the 2nd mode is called "Leica Authentic" that gives you softer and more real-life realistic photos that similar to S23 FE (but with better saturation). 13T photos tend to be more brighter cuz you used only "Leica Vibrant" that's why it has better contrast but under strong lightning conditions it'll expose some places. 13T offers more customization and handling compare to S23 FE. So my take is like this, if you're a bit "average joe" when it comes to photohraphing and you dont wanna do manuel stuff you just want automated consistency. And you're more of a "selfie" photographer then yes S23 FE would be a better choice. Cuz S23 Fe offers a better floor level to users. But if you're open to more configuration, customization and experimental stuff and you care more about rear cameras than front (more traditional photography compare to selfies) then Xiaomi 13T offering much higher ceiling than S23 FE to it's users.
hey there, nice to read ur such an informative comment. i m considering to buy one between samsung s23FE and 13T. but my focus is on colors as i m an artist and publish my videos of paintings while making them on youtube from my phone.what i have envountered with my xiaomi 9s and xiaomi note 10 and 11 that there camera used to show RED as dark pink, orange as peech and yellow was just not the right yellow on them, which i had to edit later. this time on gsmarena picture comparison when i am comparing s23fe with 13T it is showing me same problem with 13T. could u plz confirm me that on lieca authentic is the picture taken by the camera shows real colours. considering the fact i like 13T specs more and its cheaper in my country. plz plz reply

If you want more sharpen and more "blue-heavy" tones then S23 FE cuz general photo-identity of Samsung phones are "over-sharpened" and "blue-heavy" you can see that even when they compare Iphone 15 Pro Max Vs S23 Ultra or S24 Ultra vs Xiaomi 14 Ultra. And about 13T vs S23 FE: I think both has good main cameras but 13T has bigger sensors, photos in the dark will be better on 13T. But video quality and selfie camera quality is slightly better at S23 FE. But ultrawide and telephoto cameras much better in 13T imo. And about "realistic colors" I think Xiaomi and Lecia partnership targets "old school photo camera tones" more than realism. So if you after more realistic colors. In that price range it's kinda hard you need to edit your photos or videos. I think 13T would be huge upgrade after Xiaomi 9s but still not the best when it's comes to super realistic color gammut. Ans since you focus on "video" more than "photography" then I don't think 13T is the best call cuz 13T really photographer stuff. Cuz 13T doesn't have 4K 60 fps video option it's 30fps. 13T Pro has 60fps option. So for videos I guess S23 FE but in terms of overall quality, I think 13T is a better phone imo. If you have access then you can consider having Google Pixel phone for video and photo in more realistic way with way more customizing options. Another budget option could be Honor 200 Pro. But that one also ain't have 4K 60fps video.

the qualiy of pictures is quite similar (I prefer a bit S23) but 13T in my country (Italy) costs about 250€ less than the S23 FE so I bought Xiomi. Adding 200€ the contest should be 13T PRO vs S23 FE
Seems she's a Samsung fan girl, when 23FE photo brighter that 13T, she said 23FE produce brighter while other way around she said 13T washout and also about detail 23FE clearly shown over sharpening but she said keep the detail better LOL
Daylight photos seems to be over sharping on the 23fe while the 13T seems to be balanced tho i like how the s23 fe is lifting the shadow and the colors are consistent In low light photos the 13T is sharper has better details Ultrawide is more consistent tho you need enough light while the s23 has brighter image and sharper in dark areas Overall it's still hard for me to decided whice 1 is the winner but the s23fe did better then i expected Also the price of the s23Fe is actually equal/higher then the 13T pro for the same ram and gb

the s23 makes the night picture become daytime especially the sky, its not that bright, its a nightime , xiaomi took better photos at lowlight scenarios
S23 FE showing waaayyyy toouch, the 13T is better for me, i want good shadows like reality and keeping some depth that you remove on Samsung with trying to make shadows bright. Also robot voice over?

Samsung is everything under their S-Class cheap junk, to name it your way. @@hellhall_ yes, it's really good. Considering S23FE is about $220 more expensive than 13T it must be better... @serrael-182 After 13T release, A54 now cheaper about $16 cheaper... In SEA Samsung (and apple) price is 30-50% more expensive than it's global pricing.

That lady is being biased towards Xiaomi, it's pretty obvious. Also the price difference. I could get the 13T for as low as 260 EUR, like new. I've bought the 13T Pro for 420 bucks, 99% new. Now being settled for the next 3-4 years. Unlike some smartphone posers, i have a decent full frame setup for my photography needs, so the camera isn't the main reason - and for real, these small Sensors and lenses can't compete with a 36x24mm Sensor, in terms if IQ, DR, lens quality, flare resistance, and many more things. A Xiaomi 14 Ultra or Vivo X100 Ultra is currently the *top* of the line, whereas every other phone does have to compete with. And the next generation, like every year, is just around the corner. Into September/October, the Xiaomi 15 (Pro) series are already out into china, and the 14T(Pro) would also being released this fall.
looks to me the xposure is the main problem and the differing exposure with the 13t i would say it software related, maybe a future update can fix this shift.

I have watched hundred of videos about the topic and this comparative and I finally come to the conclusion as a intermediate-photographer (and searching for a new phone in a good range of price) that the 13T has a really good rear camara with an amazing performance realted to colors but a really bad front camera in comparision for example with the S23FE. Nothing else to say.
When the photos and videos are more important, must chose S23 fe build quality and maybe more satisfactor in UI BUT longer battery life, fast charge, great screen and body-screen ratio, cooler device 13T better device. I used 13T approx 3 mounths main camera great for photos but tele or ultrawide cameras especially at night not useless. Now I ve S23 fe so am not happy with it. Bad on screen time slow charge and overheating only using social Media apps...
Amigos, tengo este teléfono pero tengo un gran problema. No dudo de sus capacidades en video y fotografía. Pasa que trabajo en el mundo del tenis y al sacar fotografía encordado una raqueta o algo así me hace elegir en que el enfoque se centre en el encordado o bien en el marco, no en ambas. Para mí gusto personal los dos están bien un empate la diferencia es que el 13 t en el día tiene más colores sercanos a la realidad que el Samsung el Samsung satura mucho los colores y le da como ese toque de Brillo que aviva los colores pero en las noches Samsung gana un pocos más por lo que aclara las sombras y saca más información pero hay momentos viendo las fotos que el 13 t en algunas fotos saca un color más semejante a la realidad pero a un así en sitios más oscuros con poca luz Samsung da más información

Yo lo ví al revés, quizá sea mi cel pero en el día Samsung es mejor en zoom y fotos normales y xiaomi es mejor en el angular, de noche Samsung gana algunas veces, pero hay veces que sube mucho la exposición y pierde nitidez y Xiaomi no... Ah y Xiaomi graba mejor eso sí... Considerando que Samsung es más potente No hay una diferencia abismal pero Samsung tiene mejor cámara aunque por el procesador... Es mas fácil modificar la cámara del Xiaomi 13t con gcam (lmc) y conseguir unos resultados iguales o superiores al Samsung en la cámara principal Pero la cámara selfie... Es indiscutiblemente mejor en el Samsung por qué graba en 4k y eso no se puede modificar en gcam Al final tocará elegir uno y otro por sus otras características que hagan la diferencia
