Just upgraded from the s9+ today! My s23+ should be here in a couple of days. I'm surely going to miss my s9 but it's just time to finally upgrade my 2018 phone.
i found that it was actually a downgrade from my a52s, in terms of battery. it still makes it through the day, but my a52s after 2 years still felt to last longer than my s23 does now.
@@chickenbobbobba You're correct. The A5 series is in a different class, aims a different goal. Use less powerful and more efficient chipset. Bigger battery. But for small flagship phone, s23 is top tier
Using one now, the S23+ is the most "Cellphone" phone I've ever owned. It is everything a phone should be, and as simple as a phone should be. Looking forward to using this phone for the forseeable future!
@@Unknownuserhtps I think you're confusing SOT with battery life. Iphone 14PM gets about 8.5-9.5 hours of sot. Other than that. My s23 ultra will last me days
I have the ultra and had around 3 hours of gaming, an hour of youtube and had calls throughout the day and didnt charge the phone overnight. Had 11% when i woke up
@@zoinky9742 i also didnt know that my phone wasnt optimized to the fullest, changed some settings, lowered the res from wqhd (no difference i found) and i dont charge my phone overnight (saves battery life) i wake up to see 20-30% charge every day. Its insane
Make sure to get a screen protector asap cause front glass gets scratched easily (the kind of scratches you can only notice at certain angles in daylight tho), havent noticed a single dot on the back, the phone is bussin 👌 battery is great
Dude, I've been using a OnePlus 7T for over 3 years without a screen protector and the screen is just as good looking as it was when I got it. I just upgraded to the S23, I get home, take it out the box, put it on my mouse pad, pick it back up to put a screen protector on and there's a giant scratch from the top down the middle
the only scratches ive got on it were from when i accidentally put it face down and slid it over quartz granules. but even then, the scratches are barely noticeable
@@chickenbobbobba Yeah, they're barely visible anyways but just wanted to give heads up to people who care a lot about it. Overall, almost 1 year and this phone is as good as the day I bought it! This is that "best buy" of the year honestly 🙌
@@notedgeshot yeah, im still dead happy about mine. a little sad the battery isnt as good as the a52s i had last, but it still lasts long enough for me
I usually don't care about phones all I ever really used was the internet and that's it but I'm loving this phone. I dont use social media so I never cared for pics but I do enjoy taking random pics sometimes when I'm out walking. I was going to go for something smaller glad I didn't since I play games on my phone now and it's the perfect size for gaming.
@@tanishabiswas7909@tanishabiswas7909 Yes, heating does occur if you put on a silicon case heat doesn't feel to your hand Samsung assures that this heating won't affect the battery life and performance. The battery lasts up to 6 to 7 hours.
Just got this phone on a contract and it's amazing, went from a big phone to this and the size is perfect, only thing is you can't change the app icon size.
@@Altosebbecause it's Apple, they buy the phone because it's Apple. not for the campera nor it's processor, Apple. Their flagship has the specs of an older flagship while the S23 Ultra just keeps getting better.
I have an iPhone 8( I know a dinosaur lol) and I’m thinking about switching to s23. Does it have dark mode( bright screens hurts my eyes), silent mode , and are you able to silents all unknown numbers? I enjoy having the option of only Receiving calls from my contacts list.
Cool video. Why have a heawy darkened glass back?? I rather have a plastick back for more protection also for better cell & wifi reception. Dropped calls can happen!
they use the aluminum sides for cell and wifi not the back, also the back is glass because it's more premium for most people and plastic usually scratches (you're gonna probably put a case on anyway)
I have s22 ultra and planning on getting the s23+ I do love the ultra but honestly the curved screen is not for me I feel like it gets in my way sometimes it’s triggering 😂 Also I can’t find the justification to pay the extra cash for including the s pen cuz I’m not even using that thing since all my productive activities are done on my tablet.
@@ADIFYT i know the feeling. I got the S21+ with 128 gigs and worst purchase i ever made. Don't get me wrong, its a great phone but the stinking storage 😭
i just bought S23 regular its great phone... but when i get text message (sms) is keep biping until i open the messages does happen with any one else??
Love this phone. Although I've had a couple issues with it. Within the first year of having it I've had to replace both the loudspeaker and earpiece speaker- luckily Samsung made these phones very easy to work on yourself
S23 is an upgrade when it comes to camera, video and the performance but when it comes to audio, listening to music that's where s23 hasn't satisfied me... listening to music in s20 fe is a heavenly feeling. But still, in everything else s23 is the beast. Some people might like the audio quality in s23 the most.. it depends
