Funny - I ordered that exact same set - case and magsafe adapter a few days ago prior to seeing your video. Thanks for posting! I am excited to see how it looks in person.
Woooo waiting for my ultra!!! SPIGEN sells an ultra hybrid case with the ring on in it already! Need to order the magsafed case, it was on back order (wait time was a month). But I magsafed my note 10+ with esr halo lock ring! Amazing got to give credit to apple!
Dope video. I bought the case, but ended up getting the ESR magsafe ring instead. Not sure if it can ever be incorporated into the Ultra because of the S Pen, but can't wait for Magsafe to pick up more steam for Android devices and cases. Not much of an iPhone guy but I will give them credit for introducing it.
@@RaulRiveraR it did work, but i had to use a best guess judgement as far as the magnet location. funny enough i ended up finding a spigen zero one case with magsafe on Temu for cheap so I just use that one now.
@@Der_Micha93 magnets can cause issues with the pen. But the one in the video isn't a magnet. It is just a metal ring that is attracted to the magnets in the mount or whatever else
@@leewinney2449 I think it would cause issues if you try to use the s-pen while a magsafe accessory is connected, I have seen some videos of this happening on the s22 ultra + magsafe cases
I like you're style. I have the iphone 14pm with the zero one case and waiting for my s23 ultra to arrive Monday and already have the zero one case. Didn't know about the mag ring I could add to the samsung. I'll be doing that. You're graphite is making me wish I got it. But I can't deny the phantom black.
The problem with cases is that most of them will constantly lift and trash your screen protector, this one probably not compatible with screen protector because of the front corners
Thanks fully doesn’t interfere with the screen protector and definitely offers some protection but the only way to fully check it would be to drop it (which I don’t wanna do 🤣)
great video mate, im gonna buy the case now, but the magsafe ring, I've seen some people say it interferes with NFC like when using your phone to pay in shops, any issues you've found with it?
The case looks good. Is the case a fingerprint magnet because i sew it being a bit glossy? I wish they made the case with a 3d feel aspect like the OnePlus Nord 2 Doodle Chaos Case.
Ordered mine today. Should be here tomorrow. Also got some ESR lens protectors. Now just need to find a case with precise cuts for each of the lenses that will be compatible with these lens protectors attached. Do you have any recommendations? I was looking at the Caseology Nano Pop but not sure if the ESR lens protectors will fit.
@PaulRankinYT OK sound cheers, I Brought the clear magsafe case but I'm not the biggest fan of clear cases dust and dirt show up alot. This is a much better style
That's what I'm wondering, the magnet may not be as strong or the case may not fit correctly since there's a hump, and from what I've seen from the reviews on Amazon they peel off after some use because the magnet is strong
This ring is not the magnet it is only a metal ring that will snap to a magnet. As far as putting it inside a cases concerned you could in theory but chances are it would not give you the result that you're looking for because depending on how thick your case is it's going to affect the magnetic pole and thus while things may attached to it they may slide off just as easily because it doesn't have a direct connection. As far as the magsafe rings that are actually a magnet that can be purchased I would not recommend these for two reasons if you have a Galaxy s23- one being that magnet will affect the other magnets in your phone and will cause your S-Pen to act a goofy and as far as the ring itself you would have to find a way to have it stick to your phone in the opposite direction that it has the sticky tape on because magnets have to have opposite polarization to attract and the glue is on the side that will be sticking to your phone which will allow the other side to attract to the mag safe so if you don't flip it all it's going to do is want to push the magsafe stuff away and thus you will not have a strong of a connection and chances are they may not even work right... as we all learned in school when it comes to a magnet it's polarity is key. If you truly want to go for magsafe I would go for this option but even after constant use and using a vent style holder the glue is going to wind up becoming loose and it's only a matter of time before either your phone falls while you're driving or that wallet that you had on it and becomes lost because the ring fell off. Max safe is a great idea but it's just not ready for Androids prime time yet
No! I have never had an iPhone and have no intention of getting one. I think they should just keep offering it as an option to android cases for those already with magsafe accessories like yourself.
Grippy on the back as it’s raised ever so slightly, camera is recessed and has a lip round the front. I’m sure I showed that in the video unless I cut it
If you use apples official magsafe charger when it's almost dead, how long does the phone say it takes to charge it to 100%? I wonder what the speed of the 15w are on samsung phones
Would anyone be able to tell me how long these Rings last before they fall off and does the heat from your car heater affect this in any way for those that use vent mounted car holders
Guys, has any of you with this configuration tried to charge the phone (S23Ultra) with a MagSafe charger? Mine gets super hot (using the ESR Mini Charger), so not sure it's working...!
Mine sites on a MagSafe ESR charger over night and doesn’t get hot and the. I have an Anker battery pack I use now and again and haven’t noticed anything out the ordinary Keep an eye on that mate
It works but not precise. The magnetic ring makes the writing a bit off when you're writing. If you are a heavy writer, I don't recommend it. (Tested on 23u + UAG Monarch Pro + Ring)
@Paul Rankin you wanna look cute like a lil" girl or keep your phone SAFE?? That's the dumbest reasoning EVER. Keeping your phone's internals safe MATTERS, too! Nothing offers shock absorption like OB. You get a hard shell case AND a rubberized one on top of that. What's the issue here again?? Oh yeah you just wanna look cute🤣
@@theanonymousone9668 You'd have to be a clumsy spaz to need a case that ridiculously chunky. I've had no cases or thin cases on all my phones in the past 15+ years, but zero damage because i'm not a 10 year old child so i can look after things properly.
