and what if the screen protector is cracked...had a nightmare removing my girls one...took me over 2 hrs to get all the pieces removed as it comes off in pieces when cracked and you have to be ultra careful that the smaller shards of glass do not scratch the original screen...never again will i purchase this product...added to that when i contacted whitestone regarding a replacement screen i was told i have to purchaes the whole thing again...ridiculous,it's almost £40 for it on amazon and pretty much everyone who has ever purchased one always messes up the first attemp meaning you do not have a spare glass if one cracks...absolute rip off...one thing i will say is that it did it's job and saved my screen from being broken...thats all it did
Is there any possibility to find just the bottle of the dome glue cause there were 3 in the box....and on my fisrt attempt the glue didnt covered 1 cm of the bottom of the screen even when i waited for 3-5 minutes so i removed it cmpletely cleaned it and used the second glue without cleaning the glass itself ....of course it was a dissaster...cleaned everything again ans used the 3rd bottle with the second glass and everything went ok....but know i have only the glass with no glue.....for backup...
Whitestone Dome comes with a card that you can put it between the screen protector and slide it through and it comes off super easy. It's a lot easier than what you just did in this video.. 🤔💭
@@Josh_Quinonez oh wow, I wonder why they didn't include it with the S23 line.. I saw another video on how to remove Whitestone Dome screen protector for the S23 ultra. Idk but that's interesting.
Can you re-use the protector? Asking because i just installed it after watching your video but after pouring liquid i noticed the right corner warp issue. Now samsung wants to examine it which would Cost me 1 screen protector just hours later 😂
The adhesive, if there is any left on the phone, is easily cleaned with isopropyl alcohol. Heck, a microfiber cloth on it's own should really suffice. The glue is designed to be easily removed.
@@Josh_Quinonez aaah perfect, because i watched your video to perform the installation on my S23 U and was starting to worry hahaha BTW keep on the great videos man!
Why in the hell do they make these types of glass screen protectors that has that glue that you have to apply? I've been looking around for just a normal freaking glass screen protector where you don't have to apply the glue but apparently they don't make them anymore?
These are better because they bond with the entire screen making responsiveness accurate and it also allows the indisplay fingerprint sensor to work accurately as well
I agree with you, it does bond the screen to the screen protector. And with that the screen responds without any glitch .When you use the whitestone dome you just have to be patient and it will come out perfect.I had it on my S10plus and now it's on my S23Ultra
There are still quite a few TPU and peel and stick tempered glass screen protectors on Amazon. They do an adequate job, but won't be as optically clear as this type of screen protectors. Granted, I'm not sure if the difference between the clearness of the protectors would be easily noticeable.
