I see you still at it. You was my go to when the samsung frontier was out but they kept killing the battery. Left bad taste in my mouth as far as tech went settled with S 9 + and called it a day fast forward 5 years later and battery swoll. Ended up getting the 24 ultra and I still doing big. I got the S23 Ultra instead of the s24 ultra earlier this month :). My boyfriend showed me the IR Blaster when I had the LG phone in the past lol. They are so cool. I do love the always on display with the different color apps, the brighter display all you said that is why I got the s23 ultra, and the rotation.

God knows I can’t be affording these phones but that ain’t gonna stop me from watching these reviews when I see them In flossy we trust

Just bought the Ultra today. Had been mulling around with which one I wanted and decided this was the one. One thing I love about it is how big you can make the keyboard. I have to correct messages all the time because I am constantly fat fingering the wrong letters. I am loving this phone. Thank you so much for your awesome honest review.

The big tip I would give for the screen vibrancy is to activate the developer options menu and in there, find the contrast setting. You're welcome!

Couldn't resist and just got one, thanks to Uncle Floss' advice. I did have a question on the screen - have you noticed the screen coating coming off with use? Have some pics online with some pretty nasty wearing out of the coating. Wasn't sure if you've also experienced this issue?

I'm currently running the s23+ which was a major go considering that I never had a flagship device in my life. Now I'm emulating new switch games on my phone! But the s24 is only a minor upgrade for me personally, however; I might upgrade my wife's iPhone to the new galaxy because I think it's time. Peace

I love your reviews because you cover the features/missing features which other reviewers don't. I got the Pixel 8 pro and previously had the pixel 6 pro. But my favorite phones were always Samsungs. I'm definitely switching back for the Galaxy S25.

Got a 512 S24 Ultra, my first Samsung since the S4, thanks to you, Uncle Floss. You have the best reviews out here, hands down, no question.

Yeah. My biggest gripe about the phone was the presentation for the price range. I paid the premo premium. 1TB 24 Ultra. And they gave me that boring as box with no charging block. When I had to give everything I had from my last 22 and almost thought I had to give the guy a reach around. No expandable storage was a bummer, but since Note 10+, I have coped with a bunch of peripherals like a portable 2tb USB-C to USB-C M.2. 65w and wireless charging plate, mounts, etc. But that bareass box with an itty bitty crib note of an instruction sheet was not very welcoming. BUT The phone performance is amazing. Packaging really felt like drive-thru love. Buds Pro 2 need a better integration. But that is on the Buds side of thing because my Buds 2, that I thankfully held onto, work great. [Buds Pro 2 will pause your audio player app, but the audio player app will still work independently. Causing overlap of the music playing, 'twice'. So, sometimes you will need to turn the app off by opening the app on the phone, or using watch controls] The AI feature is cool. Wasn't too impressed that it was counted as a feature, but the phone making it more convenient, smooth and accessibility was a plus. I now actually use it on my browser because I had such a good experience with it on my phone. The most overlooked issue with the phone. Certain games can not be played on S24 Ultra. I could play FF VII on my Note+ and 22... Not on the S24 Ultra. But MTG Arena plays almost better than it plays on my PC. I know that's a very isolated issue. But I like to travel alot. So, music, movies, GAMES are a big part of my usage. I even tested out the FF VII on older alt platforms like my grand mothers A11. That phone is basically a burner... But I can play FF VII on it.

This man deserves a lot more respect than he gets, no flashy animations, no extremely attractive transitions or b rolls , just pure raw facts ❤❤

This is exactly what I was looking for. A video actually going into the tiny details that bring out the personality of the S24 Ultra. Everybody out here doing 8 minute videos taking the phone out of the box, setting it up, and then swiping through the home screen 3 times and calling it a day. I wanted this 2 hour tour through the settings, edge lighting, live wallpapers, S-Pen details, experienced user gripes and cons, UI POV, etc. This is why we keep coming back to your videos bro.

You know what pisses me off? When I watch other tech RU-vidrs all collaborating and what not and our boy Floss isn’t mentioned.

😊 I am literally watching Flossie on my iPad Pro. I happen MacBook Pro. I have an iMac I have had all of the iPhones. My primary usage besides, the ecosystem is that I produce music. Beyond that though I am a musician. Third-party apps, and companies that make my keyboards make the apps only primarily for the iPhone. With that iPhone has been my daily driver for ever technically. Yet I have missed out on all this customization that comes with. I’ll just say the android. But I prefer the Samsung world. Thanks for keeping me in the loop here floss. I can’t wait to finally have the ultra.

Man a big dream of mine is during a Samsung Unpacked they start the show off with Flossy's gripes and they reveal they've addressed all of those things, SD card makes a return, IR blaster makes a return, faster wired/wireless charge, improved face unlock, improved fingerprint. I mean they used Floss in one of their keynotes before I think them doing this would be EPIC! It's fun to dream lol

What I hate about Samsung phones nowadays: biometrics suck, the maximum hardware RAM memory is 12GB since the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus in 2019, there is no charger in the box like Apple, no more SD card slot, no IR blaster, and the prices are too high. Come on, Samsung! I am glad we have other options on the market!

Sorry Flossy have to take issue with the comment you just made in the review at the 8 min point. "In a couple of years, I won't care about any of this stuff. I am a samsung girl. I had an iPhone before. They are good phones, but I love my icons and live wallpaper. I used to buy my icons in the past and get wallpaper separate, and create my own personal look. That is the selling point for me and the fact I can download whatever and store where I want. I got the 24 ultra and went through different videos to set certain features. Now my phone is working magnificent . It is so fast also, Battery last longer. By the way, I love your wallpaper with the fish.

For $1300, I think Samsung should at least put in the 45W charger.

My s24 ultra takes 3 hours to go from 20 to 100.percent.. then again I am using a 25 watt charger..and yes I'm at the i can't put this phone down factor for sure😂😂
