Yeah definitely wait, I got my s24 ultra, upgraded from a note 10+ and honestly at the moment it feels underwhelming. I was hoping to get more of a thrill but nothing yet.

I have an S23 Ultra, but I have a 256 GB. I'm upgrading to the 1TB S24 Ultra primarily bc buying a 256GB smartphone as a power user is a huge mistake, and I'm paying less than $800 for it. $788 to be exact. Cheaper than the Pixel 8 Pro and for more storage

I personally went with the Poetic Spartan case. All around protection, to the camera and all. But, that MagBak case seems great too.
