I think it is pretty cool that in Australia they let you use the phone before launch and release camera samples on day 1 whereas in other countries you would have to wait for at least a week.
Great video and early test of the s24, I have s23 ultra and it's a great phone as u have loved it. So I just order S24 as with tmobile jump can't beat it and to have those AI features as well it will just as amazing. Keep the amazing content coming

I remember when the S23U embargo lifted last year and you also dropped a video on its early photography and videography capabilities and this year you did it again for the S24U! Great video and honestly the quality looks great especially considering the early software 😮
The photo/video section was the best I've seen from any phone review. Shows us A LOT of different scenarios and lets us decide if we like how it looks or not.
I'm upgrading from my s10+! Preorderd the 24ultra 1tb in titanium blue! Super pumped! Thought about a zfold, but I do home remodels, and it would be too stressful 😂. Hopefully it'll be a decent upgrade!
Can it take a photo of something in motion without the photo looking blurry/horrible? For some reason Samsung just never gets this... I hold on to my pixel just for photos of things that move which is sad.
Imagine if Samsung would spend a few bucks more and give us a modern 50MP sensor for both 3x and ultrawide. But I guess they're still sitting on a ton of parts from the last generations.
Cameras are just the same like it's predecessor, nothing different. The 5x tele is also way below the quality offered by the iPhone, and out of competition when compared to Vivo x100 pro or oppo. Disappointed, NOT gonna upgrade.
Thanks for the impressive review of the Galaxy s24Ultra. I also enjoyed the camera test. Quick question though, has Samsung finally fixed over sharpening in video as well? Cos the s22 Ultra I use has terrible sharpening when shooting videos, and I'm considering an upgrade
7:34 100x zoom still dosen't really have the best quality to be fully useable, I mean you can still use it but its not exactly the best quality that you would want to keep a photo of 100x zoom in your photo gallery, because it is just too mushy and low quality, but I understand why though, they upscale it so that you don't see all that grain, but I feel they upscale it way too much that it just looks like a blobly mess. But if they improve the tech so that you can get better photos at 100x in which the grain is 20% quality is 60% and upscaling is 20% then that would be much better in my opinion. Overall I think they just have to improve the 100x zoom lens so that you can get much better quality in the photos and they need to reduce grain, by alot. Maybe in the future when they make the s26 ultra, the 100x zoom might look much clearer and better quality, And who knows maybe samsung might make the zoom go even further than 100x and make it go too 200x. That would be crazy!

When you press and hold the video to create slow motion, 1, can you save that 120p part of the video and 2, is it a 4k video file (the 120p ) you can use later?
I'm not sure if you have a different camera software version or not but other camera reviews show issues with over exposure and difficulties with yellow color sources.
Do you use Raw format in Galaxy as a photography? I plan to change my 6 y.o Samsung photo to a new one. I don't know which one but probably Samsung. So I'm curious if the Raw format makes better photos
Yes I do shoot in Raw sometimes, I dont think it makes for better photos but it does help when youre editing colours in your photos. Raw makes it nicer to edit because theres more information. Most of the time I just shoot Auto and Jpeg though
Are there any current issues surrounding the S24 Ultra Camera in regard to shutter lag capturing moving subjects kids pets etc? I’m currently with IPhone looking at switching. Cheers in advance 👍

A bit too fast show of different zooms. I was not able to see what in the image and how much zoom it is and you changed to another zoom. You don't need to be so quick. I and probably more people interested in S24 Ultra will stay and watch even if these scenes transitions are slower. Let us see these details and how much zoom with more comfort next time. Other than that, amazing video.
So unfair r to give youtubers the phone 1 week before anybody else. Makes no sense, just to make a video about it to review it. In old days they would never get it before all could get it.

Dont dont dont, I got my s24Ultra yesterday I bought 2 1 for my gf and the picture camera quality is omg suck. My old note10plus can kick s24U. I gift mine to my bro and stick with my note10plus. If ur s23 dont even do it. Picture is nothing like the youtibe video. I bought it after aeeing this video. Speed is almost the same dont bother paper spec. I wonder what progress Samsung got after 5 years since note10plus. Feel cheated!
at max brightness inside it looks similar but outdoors it doesnt these distinctions must be made.. because for some people, a brighter more visible screen is a good enough reason to get it ..

Yes you can, but you shouldnt do that because the highest quality pics are going to come from shooting in 3:4 since the sensor is that ratio. 16:9 is just a cropped version of the 3:4
@@demasrusli That's great. I understand what you write, but I like the 16:9 photo better and it is better composed. Finally, I will have a photo in a format that is on the TV over the entire screen, and if necessary, it will be possible to enlarge it beautifully due to the amount of details.
Is it possible to do astrophotography just like on the note 20 ultra ? (I purchased my note 20 ultra after watching your video on it back a few years ago).
Yeah, it's hard to compete against the iPhone 15 Pro when it comes to video and photo. 10BIT LOG is another level. These samples from Samsung look like just from another smartphone, nothings special... Perhaps, only the Chinese brands can compete against iPhones since they most have 1 inch sensors...
