Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra vs Galaxy S1 - 14 YEARS Later Comparison!

Samsung has came a long way, I had the Samsung s2 until the s9.

It is so interesting to see them side by side. I got my S24 Ultra yesterday, and it is gorgeous. The AI wallpaper feature is so cool.

One of the biggest factors affecting boot time is storage access speed, not just CPU. Although, the difference in storage access speed between the two phones is equally ridiculous.

Samsung Galaxy S was my first Android phone a long time ago. So many memories. Hard to believe it's been that long.😢

Awesome video, brings back many memories of simpler times. 😁 My first smartphone was the original HTC Desire I bought at the beginning of 2011, just to replace it just at the end of 2011 with the Galaxy Nexus. I will never forget how big the Nexus felt to me with it's 4,65 inch display, that would be tiny nowadays.

I've still got a Galaxy S3 that is fully functional, power button has gotten very stiff to turn on though. Currently using A20 but have upgraded to S24 Ultra waiting for it to arrive.

Remember when the s4 came out. That was so advanced it killed the iPhone. I think the new 24 is its 10 year anniversary and it’s also killing the iPhone

I gotta say. Even though where we're at is great and all, the Note 4 Era was easily one of the best. Imagine it had One UI, holy! But TouchWiz is part of what made it nostalgic too. I gotta say, the Note 4/Edge were my favorites, they are just special I would love to upgrade from the S23 Ultra to the S24 Ultra but I probably won't quite yet, may wait another year for the S25 Ultra. Just really want that flat display again.

I was going to sell it for $550. It's mint condition but battery life is getting worse since the last update. Plus, I've been waiting on that Flat Display for years..🤟

My opinion is that the improvement of smartphone cameras has reached its limit, so now Samsung is working on new versions of the ONEUI user interface.

My First Galaxy S was the Galaxy S6 I remember that phone being very good phone in 2018 But that's was when I got Galaxy S9 in 2019 But actually my favorite Samsung phone was Galaxy On5

The current colour reproduction of the Display really sucks. Compared to my S22 Ultra they are looking very muted and unsaturated. Many people in the Samsung are complaining about that. I hope they will fix that soon with the next software update.

Well, I got my S24 Ultra earlier today, spent an hour manually setting it up and Im utterly disappointed. The display looks terrible compared to my over 5 year old S9+, it's missing a ton of features I relied on for the last 5 years and the camera is just nowhere near as good as it should be. The display is lacking saturation and definitely has some kind of green tint when displaying greys. I dont get it. The pictures I took all look terrible and are either crazy washed from the image optimization or without it just look plain terrible. Im genuinely thinking of returning this and cancelling the two other S24 Ultras I pre-ordered that wont arrive for another 3-4 weeks because of the Online Exclusive color (which was literally not stated ANYWHERE on the site when I pre-ordered but is now displayed front and center)... If there isnt a software fix for the display and camera I honestly dont want to keep this.

I had Galaxy S1 it was nice to be able to have a spare battery. However I think people had a really bad experience with the Android at the time coupled with Samsung's own UI. I guess so many people switched to iOS just for that reason. It's a day and night difference between the Android OS of that time and what we currently have.

I have gone from S1 to S24 ultra, tbh S2 ,S3 had best in hand feel till vanilla s23

My personal favorite is the s10 plus because it supports sd cards, a headphone jack, and a gear VR headset, not to mention that it looks and feels more premium than the s20 plus which started to go kinda downhill at least in my opinion, I still wanna buy the s10 plus, to me it's the best

2:25 this is disappointing and one reason I keep waiting every year for Samsung to fix this. Most pictures tend to be overexposed, so I have to lower the slider almost every time. The Galaxy S1 is properly exposed, but the last few years, it's been overexposed.

Could be argued that the Samsung Galaxy A15, a budget level device costing less than $200, is more powerful than the S1 today.

My first smartphone is Galaxy S. Now, I am using S21 Ultra, which is still performing well. But i would like to upgrade to S24 Ultra.

I remember choosing between iphone or thebfirst galaxy and the galaxy just made more sense as phone to me as it had a generic back button, goof file management and bluetooth file sharing and i didnt have to use itunes send stuff to my computer.

You could probably do the 10 year comparison using an android 14 rom on the old phone

Idk why the release of these new flagships don't excite me anymore. S4 to S8 releases were so thrilling. The S5 having a fingerprint reader, a fking heart rate sensor!, water resistance. All for the first time in a samsung phone. Then the curved displays..
