Camera Comparison between the brand new Samsung Galaxy S24 against its biggest competitor the iPhone 15!
Some important thing to notice:
1. Every daylight picture is taken in auto mode without adjusting any of the settings and they are being displayed without edits!
2. Videos are recorded at 4k@30fps!
3. All pictures during night are taken with night mode enabled with automatic seconds!

Both phones are great and show us their own representation of colors in our world. Obviously Samsung is better at zooming as it have additional third telephoto camera which iphone dosnt have, also lights in night shots look better on Samsung

If I can give some advice: there are no shots with people in motion, with people in motion with low light, for those who have children these are very important tests, much more important than taking photos of monuments or immobile buildings where all the photographs now look alike and the differences are minimal.

This is an out the box S24U and its doing a great job, in some cases better than the ProMax. Wait a few months for Samsung updates start coming out and then redo this test, Apple already had multiple updates to there phones, I think that will be a more equal and better comparison

I don't think there is a clear winner, the results are very close to each other. In some, S24 is better and in some, iPhone is better. But I liked the more realistic results that the iPhone 15 gave in person photos.

It is not difficult to understand which colors are closer to reality. While Samsung always gives more dominant colors, iPhone shows its closest version to reality. I have experience with iPhone 14 and s23. 14 was more realistic and high quality@@eugen2408

I got s24 exynos 9 days ago, s24 screen on time at 3rd to 5th day it says around 12hours, and unexpectedly it increased at 6th to 9th day about 1 more hour exactly got 13h 13min. So i find it out why.. some youtuber say so, and they assume OneUI is optimizing power usage based on our routine. But i hv no idea how long exactly snapdragons SOT.

The night shots were a mixed bag. The lightbulb in the gallery on S24 was underexposed and showed color bending while iPhone overexposed it. Then other shots, iphone seemed to keep detail and textures better but could not handle dark areas and lights while S24 handled lights correctly but lost a lot of detail and was noisier. Video on S24 seemed to loose a lot of detail on the floor tiles, could be youtube compression but on the Iphone they still seemed more detailed. But honestly, for basic models and considering both are just phone cameras , Id say both did good :)

Hello, I live in Istanbul and these photos were taken in Istanbul. I know most of the places where the photos were taken. While the S24 adds extreme sharpening and saturation, the iPhone shoots in a more natural and lifelike way. I especially noticed that the iPhone gives the color of the Turkish flag more accurately.

I pre-ordered the S24 Ultra and was told yesterday that I'll be getting a standard iPhone 15 (not pro Model) as a job phone. IPhone adds a yellow filter on every scene which makes it boring for me. The yellow filter only makes sense where there is sunlight. But even when you take your photos at night, you'll still see the temperature on the iPhone

S24 was way better.. just wish video stabilization improves a bit more.. overall S24 takes it not only the camera, but the 120HRZ, screen, design, chip, fast charging and reverse to name a few..

The iPhone has this artistic vibe and Samsung looks plain. The color of the iPhone looks natural which makes it artistic in a sense of capturing a realistic scene of a timeline. You're pretty but the iPhone makes you look artistic. Samsung really is on another level with the night shots but on the other shots the iPhone is good too. Seems like the iPhone is overall better in many ways.

Yes it does, but I think you can get 50 MP as well. Note that 50 mp at 2 x digital zoom leaves 12 MP.

5:37 is where you can see a huge difference. in my opinion in most of the times the samsung camera does oversaturated shots which is a huge problem because of the oversaturation a lot of the details are lost

In most cases S24 has more cinematic image with higher dynamic range. But in some Iphone looks better. Overall Iphone just has a contrast image with most details in midtones, while S24 tries to save details in the shadows. 4:53 Here Iphone has more details on the road.

In Dxomark's camera score, the iPhone 15 received 145 points, while the S24 received only 133 points. There are also many comparison videos on RU-vid where the iPhone 15 smashes the S24. :)

mixed opinions on each category but iphone edges out for me that doesn't mean that samsung is shit nor that the iphone is miles ahead. But for my preference id say iphone only because samsung saturates colours more and i just prefer the more natural look of the iphone

Favorite part of this video when she states that the iPhone takes more realistic pictures and how she hates how she looks realistically. Also she starts the video stating that scene optimizer is enabled on s24, which gave it a weird brightness which drowned out a lot of detail in some things, but seemed to work best with shadowy objects only, for example, iPhone hands down won pretty much everything, especially the clouds, I mean, what did the s24 do to mess up the clouds?

@@King_504 I have zero issues with the battery on my Pixel 8 Pro. It lasts me all day and at the end of the day right before going to bed. I plug it into my charger and I'm good for another day. I guess if you live in a remote area with no chargers around that could be a problem.

Pixel 8 has amazing battery, at least mine is sooo good... I charged at 90% early in the morning, still at 38% after using it all day..! I love my pixel 8...
