It's been over 10 years since the Samsung Galaxy S3 was released to the general public. Here's a video where I compare various Galaxy S3 icons with the Galaxy S23 (aka One UI 5). For consistency purposes, Google Apps icons are excluded from this video.

I remember the days in 2012-2013 when I've had expermince with my S3 Mini, i've used it to play like old games, Make random stuff in notes, make photos. Sadly my S3 mini broke in Early 2021. Such an memories.

@@random_person618 I'm not sure, but it can be... If battery died I can easily replace it bc it's an 2012 phone and it had removable battery. But I saw battery was fine Soo.... Idk, it's a mistery to this day

@@martycutekirby7538 Is it bootlooping? If it is, then it's probably a battery issue. Maybe the charging port is broken. I doubt the motherboard would be broken because I also have a Spice MI-535 phone from 2011 and it boots up to Android 4.4 Jelly Bean, except the display is paralyzed almost entirely because I dropped it too much. So it's probably not a motherboard issue, the battery can also cause the phone to not be able to complete the startup process.

Those S3 icons are so nostalgic! I wish you would do a Grace UX icons video. In my opinion, the Grace UX that debuted with the Note 7 were, and still are, the best Samsung icons I've seen

I'm not a fan of Grace UX's icons, I prefer OneUI 5's icons. But this is a nice video idea nonetheless.

I love Grace UX icons and UI. My first phone was a Galaxy J2 Prime and that had Android 6.0.1 with TouchWiz Grace UX. It was beautiful. (I know someone is gonna reply to this with "nobody asked" or something like that)

I like some better on both. Definitely like that pretty purple internet icon on the new vs old, but I definitely like the camera icon on the old vs new. It’s a good little art effort of a real actual camera vs just a white shadow of a camera on the new.

If it was relased 20 years ago,then the s3 would be relased in 2003, (2023-20),back then smartphones didnt exist. S3 was relased in 2012. I think u mean 11 years

@@Charliezard7 no. they changed a lot. Android 5.1.1 is the first to unify the shape but had skeumorphic icons while Android 7 had flat icons. aslo the ui feels easier to use in Nougat than lolipop
