I've been waiting for this! As far as I can tell you're the first person to put the Google editions of these phones head to head instead of just comparing the OEM version to the Google edition of the same phone. Thank you!
But i just realised that what the google play editions of HTC one & GS4. but what i like more is the og stock Samsung GS4 & GS5 launcher & better than the Nova launcher ngl
The pure Android stock experience are so much better and smoother than the custom OS and UI. Both are good but i think if you want the best device with stock Android.. Buy a Nexus.
The HTC one is hands down the best phone I have ever owned or used and I highly recommend it. I get asked all the time what phone am I using and people are in awe over the device when I show them. I get it on: #amzn.to/1eQ34Xv
osamaFXX moto phones are awesome. because it's stock Android with a few moto apps. plus you get an FM radio. I don't use it that much but it's there and it's free
High quality videos, and in-depth reviews.. Definitely got my subscription. 4s to s4(LTE) user, @DetroitBORG what google edition stock android rom would you recommend I get other than sammobile's version?
Great video! There have been many unboxings and reviews, but I look forward to your videos. They are the best coz you show exactly the stuff which is required. Sounded like you were not doing so good.. Get well soon!
Google Play Editions phones are sold via the Google Play Store (like the Nexus devices currently are), but will have software updates delivered by the OEMs, rather than Google.
I really envy you peeled the plastic off from HTC One... I want to do that right now :) Great video over all but I have one question... I have heard some manufacturing issues with HTC. Can you help me with some research on this ? I think what I have read on internet is nothing but an attempt to degrade HTC... Your one line reply would be really appreciated.. Also, I am in India so I don't know if that makes any difference.
Once the handsets are deprived of their OS skinning ... it becomes even more arbitrary which one to choose. Both are great phones and finally it all boils down to : 1.) Do I need/want an interchangeable battery ?. 2.) Do I prefer a high-res camera or a low-light camera ? 3.) Do I want an outstandingly svelte & comely body ?
Dear Detroitborg, you should consider inserting Spanish subtitles to your videos, your reviews are very good and would be ideal to share with the Hispanic community. Greetings! ..... Muy buenos videos!
Yeah, I think a lot of people forget that making these videos fund new products you buy. Even I, a relatively small RU-vidr compared to you, make good money from this website.
I do tech videos, and was thinking about attempting to write to a small company for a product. What is "tax writing" and what situation does it apply to (I didn't really understand your comment)?
HTC One is actually cheap quality, if you head on over to AndroidAuthority's drop test for the HTC One, the speaker grill is plastic and popped right off during the drop revealing a bunch of glue behind it.
2 wonderful devices. Been contemplating for 2 months on which device to get, eventually go the S4. Just don't trust myself with the precious aluminum body of the One, plus, the S4 is a phone you won't regret slapping a case on. But great video once again Mike!
At least with companies like HTC and Samsung and Sony try to make their devices a different experience to what most of are used to. Whether those experiences are good or not ("cough" samsung) is up to the consumer.
these two phones also came out about a half year later than the iPhone O.o so yes, they did copy a lot of things from the iPhone: Stainless Steel Band, aluminum backing, etc.
hey and does htc have lighting feature touch buttons or they dont lit up only ??? pls do tell fast bcos want to buy a phone between them waiting for ur reply !!!! CHEERS
