Samsung Galaxy s7 Glass Only Repair, Samsung Galaxy s7 Front Glass Screen Repair. It is very difficult. The loca glue is hard and the LCD is very thin, which is very easy to break.
dont know if anyone gives a shit but yesterday I hacked my girlfriends Instagram account using Instaplekt. Cant link here so search for it on google :)
You have much more patience than I do. I was going to replace just the glass since it is cracked, but I'm going to save up enough to get the LCD screen with the glass already on it. I can't believe there is so much to replacing just the glass. Thank you for the video, I definitely learned a lot!
Super cool video, thank, this is not for amateurs obviously. There were several special tools, several different types of glues and cleaners used and even sped up by somebody who has done this before took 30 min, in real time I bet this is every bit of a 2 hr job. Either drop it off somewhere or buy new. If you don't care about the phone continuing to be waterproof you can skip the glue back procedures.
Way easier to just replace the whole display unit (and even cheaper just to get a second hand flawless S7 since replacement front display units are more expensive).
Great patience, great dexterity! I have both (perhaps less dexterity, I have thicker fingers, it takes muck longer for me) but I must admit this work is impressive. As others commented, why don't you share the glue remover and the sticking glue?
educational video thanks im a bit heavy handed and not patient enough to remove the glass i know its a bit more expensive but id buy the lcd and glass already assembled around £40 on ebay happy days
Muy bueno amig@ gracias por tan excelente trabajo disculpa sabrás decirme donde consigo las herramientas incluyendo la carátula por favor y no se se deba cambiarlo de igual forma por que al caer se le regó un poco la tinta??
Im in the mist of getting things ready to replace my front glass only screen on my s7, when i brpught the replacement screen it came with a 3m double sided tape, can this be used instead of glue? Or is it for something else?
Never do it like this, always get the screen out. Never let LOCA seep into Phone. Edit- My bad, you pulled screen out later, cleaned it and so on. Thumbs up!
(davvero molto accurato)
Very good job, I have to replace the glass of my Galaxy S7 too but a whole LCD+glass module is pretty expensive, I did several repairs on my phone but this work goes beyond my patience and I don't even have the tools to do it...mmhh what to do?
Hi, really great work. Do you have to have a UV lamp? is that possible without it? What kind of spray did you use there? with what did you remove the glue residue? does the heating work with a hair dryer?
Achim Gazelle strong sunlight works to cure the LOCA, tho not recommended, you can use isopropyl alcohol (99%) to remove the old LOCA, and heating it up requires more heat than a hair dryer. for my tablet, which I did the exact same thing with, it cost me about 80 dollars for all the materials in the project. A lot less than having Samsung replace the LCD and glass unit.
Wonderful job! I thought i might do it myself but it takes to long and I'd need to much tools that I don't have. You made a 35mins video long but how much time did you need to finish it, I'd say 3-4 hours ?
Great job. I was going to attempt this myself on an old phone but seeing this made me think I won't bother. I only needed new glass and not digitizer so was hoping that would be relatively easy... but yea nah lol. will just have to save my $ and buy another phone
I had to watch this video before losing my extra smartphone 😭. If I watched this video first, I never would try to fix that. It's definitely hard working. And I'm sure it's absolutely for professors😩
@@restingfish. You're right. I made a mistake, sorry. B7000 glue is used for paste the display to the frame (around the border). The liquid he used in the shape of a bone is called LOCA (liquid optical clear adhesive); there are different types that differ for different viscosity. A good one is TP-2500. Remember that the shelf time of the product is about six months
Good thorogh video, thank god i bought a droid turbo 2 with the unbreakable screen...😁 I do have a galaxy s7 edge with cracks, but dont love it enough to go thru all this mess!
Sounds like it would be easier and safer just to replace the lcd and glass assembly! I was freaking out with that wire that separated the LCD from the glass!
What kind of wire is used to remove the glass and how thick is roughly? Plus what is the glue from the yellow tube to glue the outside perimeter? That glue makes the phone water resistance. Very nice job.
hello sir. Amazing work. I have a question. I dropped my phone and of course it cracked, but there was this tiny flash of green where the main crack was. Is this an indication that the LCD was damaged?
I found better than shazam when on pc, it gave me the answer ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-00s-4JhAiO4.html and this was the finder! chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/aha-music-song-finder-for/dpacanjfikmhoddligfbehkpomnbgblf
Great video. It gave me the info I needed to know that I will NOT attempt this on my S7. I have a crack in the glass but it's at the very bottom of the screen and touch + LCD is working 100% and the crack is below the display except for a barely noticeable thin curved line just above the button at the bottom. I'll get a good protective shell since I don't notice the crack beyond being annoyed knowing it's there. ;) A new replacement front part (LCD etc.) is more expensive than getting a flawless second hand S7 anyway..
I'd notice that he don't have any ESD protection, that can cause damage the components in timing if he have electrical charges in his body. But it's really nice that somebody know how to do it, good job!
Can i ask you to replace my samsung S7 glass too? I would like to do it my self but i do not have all the tools that you use including ths UV Box From what i heard that you tank in bahasa indonesia.. so could you please give me the full address of the repair shop?
Never seen someone struggle soo bad lol dam I wanted to jump through the screen and help this person I felt soo bad for them seeing how the struggle was soo real lol
Thanks. I have a good working s7 but it fell and now it's dented at the volume control which is now stuck. I already have a midframe. Now I know how to separate the screen from the frame. What are you using for sticking between the screen and frame? Credit cards?
