You are wrong my friend,I didn't enter in recovery with Kies.I enter in recovery with volume up + home button + power button and I know that this combinations don't work for all Galaxy Star.If you have another solution don't be angry and share with us.You have to much hate and this is not good.Wish you all the best!

I no its 4.1.2 jeally bean bt i was asking abt baseband nd build number of your phone? i am able to boot in recovery through adb command nd quickboot..bt not through key combination thts y asking as other member of my group on facebook nt able to boot in to recovery...

I mean.. let's say you want to try a new rom, a new firmware or something, and you have to backup your actual rom so if anything goes wrong you have your old rom ready to use.. i hope it's clear

you can root it through cydia impactor...one click root after rooting dwonload super user & bussy box app frm play store...make sure you have nt upgraded ur phone with the latest firmware released by samsung.....
