Galaxy S2 boot animation was epic. It showed that it was not just an ordinary smartphone. The sound, the animation, the graphics, it was so beautiful. But Samsung is so desperate in copying Apple, they removed everything and only has a literal logo only. No animation, no sounds, nothing but the Samsung Galaxy logo just like the Apple logo Like what PewDiePie said, "it's evolving...just backwards"
There's no animation at all on new samsung devices released after 2018. It just displays Samsung Galaxy. It doesn't display the model name either. S20 / Note20 series is the last device to have the model name displayed in the boot screen. New devices just display Samsung Galaxy. No model name, no boot animation.
it was the one ui 1.1 update that removed the startup animation and the A02/M02, A02s/M02s/F02s and A12 were actually the last phones to display the model names on startup btw i didnt mention the A12's other variants, M12 and F12 as they're newer than the A12 and come with android 11 by default
0:45 this lifts me a little smile, formerly it made me feel like I'm at home, when everything was perfect: from angry birds to clash of clans installed on your S3/S4/grand neo. But since samsung doesn't make those phones it makes me really homesick nowadays
Yes, it's because the latest software update has been installed. (Android 5.0 Lollipop). The older version (Android 4.4 KitKat) which was the software that came pre-installed with the phone at launch has the original startup.
@@AnnihilationMachine4.2.2 came with the S4 not 4.4.2 S5 came with 4.4.2 Edit: although S4 still used its Original UI in 4.4.2, it doesn't mean that's the version it firstly came with.
@@anonymoususeronyoutubeNokia is the only brand now to use both a boot animation and a startup sound. That's one of the things, with stock Android (very similar to Galaxy S6 UI) that interested me to replace my aging Samsung with a Nokia
People say that the Galaxy S2 is so nostalgic or is the best one..but I think they're wrong. The original (S1) is my best out of everything else in my opinion...I had that phone back in...idk..2010? All the other Samsung galaxy phones just used their ringtone-like startup sounds...and even todays one doesn't even have sound...(sad actually...) while only the S1 is the unique one out of all of them. Try and complain, you know that the S1 is more nostalgic than the others, and you all know it.
I am not a big fan of Motorola since in their past they would quickly abandon updates for their phones but maybe they've gotten better at giving software updates. Samsung is pretty good at updates though. I'm not sure about Asus though I've heard some bad things about their past phones having software bugs.
thats also the case with the s4, if you've updated it to android 5, you'd get the touchwiz nature ux 3.0 boot animation but still the 2013 startup sound
Some people keep saying the S7 and up have a startup sound. Well, no. S7 came with a UI called TouchWiz 6.0, and they removed the startup sound since then. However I don't care honestly. TouchWiz 6.0 is still my most favorite Samsung UI ever.
Obs: a Samsung utilizou o do S9 (2018) até o S20 (2020), e começou a usar no S21 o "Samsung Galaxy", que possuí no S22 também. Note: Samsung used the one from the S9 (2018) to the S20 (2020), and started using the "Samsung Galaxy" on the S21, which I also had on the S22. Nota: Samsung usó el del S9 (2018) al S20 (2020), y comenzó a usar el "Samsung Galaxy" en el S21, que también tenía en el S22.
1:35 this boot screen will soon be forgotten... unless you have an S8 or Note8 because the rest used the boring boot screen introduced in the S9 update
Galaxy S7 and newer phones come with Microsoft apps pre-installed, so it was probably removed because of Microsoft's influence. Same with their unlock effects when set to swipe
