Great video, very helpful. . Unfortunately, my display replacement did not include the frame on the back of the display. So I put it on my toaster oven for 15 minutes to heat up the adhesive and pushed out the broken screen. I then went through the painstaking process of cleaning all the little bits of adhesive and broken glass but I did get it off and repaired.
My replacement lcd with frame does not have screw inserts on any of the holes so nothing can be secured with screws. Should I send it back or can I remove them from old frame & put them on new one? Can it be done?
Amazing video! Thanks so much. Took me less then 20min thanks to your video. It's always a pain to open something the first time. But this is a good step by step!
