The speakers are amazing when Dolby Atmos is activated and tuned to voice vs music. Your reaction bewildered me. I paid $129 for the keyboard case at the Samsung Store at the Eaton Centre (yes I'm in Canada too) so I don't know where you paid $200. DeX settings allows you to control whether an hdmi connector turns it on automatically or not. I've used this tablet since launch, using the keyboard case and a bluetooth mouse, and it's an amazing device with the best screen on any tablet, amazing sounding speakers, battery life and DeX mode make it an all day media device/chromebook replacement. Your 'review' is far too critical and dare I say biased.
That's awesome to hear you got the keyboard case for so cheap. We got ours from Best Buy, and right now it's $200 on their site. I did mention that you can have DeX start up automatically in the review, but I couldn't find a way to do the opposite and have Dex turn off when you disconnect the tablet from they keyboard. You have manually switch back to tablet mode when we used it. You're right about this being a bit biased though, I really like Android! The problem I have with it isn't that it is a bad tablet, it's the fact that despite the high price, the level of polish still isn't there compared to the iPad, which is disappointing for me since it costs as much as a decent laptop. There is also a chance that our unit had defective speakers...but I can't lie, they were really bad, my Nexus 7 from 2013 sounded better. I agree with everything else you said though, the screen is great, same with the battery. DeX mode is great with apps that have the ability to resize, but only a small portion that I use can be resized. Glad you feel like you got your money's worth =)

I gave you a thumbs up for being nice and replying. :) I understand what you're saying about the iPad, however in comparison to Android, this is the best Android tablet available. Personally, I wish Samsung slapped Tizen OS on it instead of Android. As for your keyboard case, if you bought it yourself, you need to ask BestBuy for a price match (less 10% of difference). That's what I did, and only paid $122 can (BestBuy is also at the Eaton Centre). The BestBuy rep told me in honesty that they intentionally bump the price up. The official price is that of Samsung for $129.
Sorry, I forgot to add ... with regards to the speakers sounding bad. I had the same initial experience until I realized the keyboard case had plastic strips covering the tab's speaker holes, rattling and distorting the sound. Maybe this wasn't the same in your case, but I felt foolish once I realized there was plastic wrap that was causing the problem.

We can both agree that at this point in time it's the best Android tablet money can buy, I'm just really cheap so maybe what's why I'm so critical =). Those are a lot of good reasons but only the iPad Pro is $799+ there’s more models of iPad that cost about 3 to 6 hundred, plus when it comes it the S Pen and Apple Pencil I feel like there are much more better apps for these pens on the apple App Store like Procreate, Affinity Designer, and soon Photoshop
But.... it has glass back .... and remember.... Samsung doesnt support its tablets! (even though Apple has the exactly similar os for the last 10 years ...)

Colleagues of yours have done the same and this is why we mention it here. Apple has been pushing the same and the same products, sucking money out of the suckers that will pay no matter what, offering an os that doesn't really let you customize your home screen. Samsung launches a tablet with the best screen on the planet ( but yeah it has very crappy speakers right ???) and still all the reviewers praise apple.... for what ? For the AMAZING support that it gives to the iPads??? Because EVERY TABLET USER needs to download 10 different designing apps on their tablet?..... Oh yeah .... after all this I'm glad I am the biased one here.
Good review! For those complaining about the price, check out Apple’s prices for their new Pro iPads and accessories. It’s crazy! At least The S4 is expandable with SD cards and includes a pen. I’m thinking about switching to Android.

Hi Edward. The unfortunate thing is that it depends on what app you are looking at. Alot of smaller developers don't have the resources to focus solely on tablet support for Android. On iOS however there is a LOT more support for tablet mode among apps. Your best bet is to look at the main apps you use and want on a tablet and see if there is support on Android by looking at the compatibility section on the play store. If you have no preference as to what ecosystem you want to use, apple is currently the ecosystem which will see greater support for tablets . Hope that helps!
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S 2. I added a 128 GB micro SD card and a good blue tooth speaker. Very happy with my Tab S 2. No way I'm paying $1000 for a tablet.
I am still using the note 4 (on 3rd battery). I also have an ipad air. Facetime is an amazing app, use it extensively to talk with family in Asia. Last week apple gave me a brand new ipad air when I came for a battery replacement $100. I was blown away by this awesome policy. Wish Samsung support gets better. As you can see Note 4 and iPad Air are old devices, I don't care to upgrade to new device and waste money like the mass population. But when microcenter has a sale where the iPad Pro 10.5 is $450. I couldn't help and and purchased one. Of course I gave away a brand new iPad Air to my sister. Ipad Pro is good, still has 3.5 headphone jack (i use in gym when jogging on treadmill daily), and the touch ID is cool. 120hz on a tablet is gimmicky at best since all videos are 24, 30, or 60fps. Apple made the animation on the ipad pro quicker and it has nothing to do with 120hz, giving the illusion that it's snappier than regular ipad. Truetone is annoying since it makes everything warm. To tell you the truth, the iPad Pro isn't that much better than the iPad Air. Can't really ask your ipad back from your sister so you could return the pro now :D. I don't like where apple is going with upcoming iPad Pro announcement: faceID and no headphone jack with upcoming ipad pro. These tablets and smartphones are way too expensive, a lot more expensive than laptops,which is quite amazing to me. I just prebuilt a new PC for $1970: AMD 2700x 8 cores / 16 threads cpu, 16gb ddr4, 480gb OS SSD, 2tb HDD, RTX 2080ti. AOC 27inch 4k 100hz g-sync for $250. This will be a 4k gaming monster and a video editing dream machine. How is it that a phone, a toy like the ipone x 256gb $1,149?
I couldn't agree more when you say that tablets and smartphones are expensive. Its crazy how much they cost considering everything else that you can buy with the same amount of money. I think this is the best Tablet out there, The keyboard is sold in amazon for $89, This tablet does everything the ipad is missing as an ipad pro owner and a new samsung tablet owner I highly recommend it you wot regret it. :)

It should have enough memory for video editing and photo editing softwares, for taking pictures , for daily use, for watching videos and movies, for listening music, for reading books, on which tablets can i work for more than 10 hours on multiple programs without worrying about tablet getting hanged and with which tablet i can work with external hard disk and pen drives and can be easily carried with us anywhere on any trip .
Tab S4 still offers much more productivity than an crapple device. Bought one and sold it a few months later, too much work - a - round etc; only Puffin browser works on Crestron website, no expandable storage, not able to send sms to other device besides other ios and lack of customization. Plus more limitations for a product they claim can replace a PC.
I know this is a wiwrd question but are you ablw to type in the dex mode without a key board? Also is the keyboard on your case detachable? If not is it worth getting a magnetic one that has a detachable keyboard?
Not a weird question at all! Yes you can, DeX has a virtual keyboard you can choose to hide or bring up in case you don't have a physical one. The keyboard was not detachable from the case.
I can't say I agree with your critiques since I haven't tried out the Samsung Tablet yet but I like how you presented your points and were So eloquent. Not many RU-vidr's know how to present their opinions without sounding as if they were paid to talk. Thank you.. Count me as a subscriber! Btw- Samsung is now selling S4 tablet online for $100 off PLUS A FREE keyboard & case if purchased together. A price reduction just in time for Christmas? I still opted to gift the S4-256G version without keyboard to my wife. We will see how she likes the tablet. Then I will try it out and see if you and I agree on criticisms since I am quite nit-picky. I already agree with you regarding keyboard - I tried keyboard in store and found it quite inferior to other Bluetooth keyboards that are far cheaper, including Folio's keyboard-cases. As for Price, I got mine at Walmart online and they were selling 256G version for $649 with Free shipping (they were also selling 64G version w keyboard for same price).

I just bought this tablet. Very happy with it. Upgraded from the Tab S2, was it needed no. In could have squeezed more of my Tab S2. Good review by the way.
I got the tablet this week and I must say its amazing. The screen, the gameplay, watching shows/movies all excellent. The S-pen actually feels comfortable and the battery life is great also, you can charge it once and it will last you the whole day literally. I refuse to pay over £150 pounds for a keyboard though, that is ridiculous. It would be great to have so I will be definitely looking for alternatives.
you suggested using iPad if you want to run windows or mac applications? Does iPad run windows and mac apps I assume android does not have this functionality)? Can you elaborate? I don't own an iPad yet, but thinking of getting it.

Samsung Electronic devices are better built over Apple electronic devices. Samsung devices is a better choice for the consumer in quality,a better brighter screen, options, accessories, and value. This is a very solid device the issue is Android really don't have apps for tablets to take advantage of the bigger screen and other accessories. But I would rather pay for this then the over priced iPad.

Hi Spitfire! Thanks for your comment! If price is not a factor, this is an excellent choice! Anime looks amazing on this device and you will thoroughly enjoy movies on it. The one thing you should base your decision on is, what do you use to manage your media (such as books and comics)? If you use Google play books, Google play movies etc, then either ecosystem works. You can get an older iOS tablet and do everything you mentioned without compromise. As you mentioned , if you prefer android, you will not be disappointed in this tablet ! Hope that helps!

The S Pen with multiple options for handwriting recognition keyboards is an amazing feature in this tablet. It gives me an excellent productivity!! This feature doesn't exist in iPad pro and very limited in Surface pro.
I can see where Samsung is trying to go with this. Honestly if a bit more thought was put into the user experience, and the software was tweaked a bit, and app developers updated their apps to support resizing in DeX, the Tab S4 has the potential to outshine both the Surface and the iPad. As it is now it's not quite there yet, so IMO it's hard to justify the price.
i like samsung tablet from 2014 first gen , all the way know i still use Tab S2. my main use it watch movie , tv series, and anime. The usb connection allow me easy to transfer file from pc and even HDD ( 2tb ) external where i keep my collection. using small app like VLC , it allow to connect to local network storage( NAS) collection which i placed in my house to share movies with may family. add to that i have SD ( 64gb ). can i pad do that.....
I'm torn between buying a note 8 or a tab s4, which would I get? I'm an artist, so I'm getting inclined to the tab s4 because of the size, but I want higher spec and better camera so I'm inclined to the note 8.
This is a great, practical review of the product. It's not like the others who seem to only focus on the stats (not that they can explain why they're important). Such a shame the tablet isn't amazing, as it looked to have potential. Keep up the great work.

We couldn't agree more. Bing prefers the openness of Android and it's a real shame Google hasn't been very focused on Android Tablets. Hopefully that might change soon as they continue to develop projects like fuchsia.

Would a surface go really be a better alternative? It just hast a Pentium dual core processor the same amount of ram and very unoptimised windows 10 for tablets.
IMO the surface go is better for productivity use, especially since its keyboard accessory comes with a trackpad and feels better to type on (though still too cramped for my taste), and Windows is still far more polished than DeX + Android. As you pointed out, the weak processor of the Surface Go doesn't let you do more than the Tab, and while it is a great Android tablet, the Go is just a better tool for those wanting to use it for productivity.

Hi Scott! Good question ! When we started off, we had bought so many tech items between the two of us that we thought "Hey, why not review it!". Most of our reviews are from stuff we own already. But we figured there are so many of our friends who are buying brand new tech, or even have old tech as well that we can review. We have been really lucky these past few months as we had friends who were buying new phones and tablets. This S4 Tab for example was actually purchased by a friend's dad who gave it to us to use for a couple weeks. We also know a couple people who work at big box stores that get us tech for super cheap so it works out great! You should definitely start by reviewing tech you own, and then ask friends and family to help you out!
I own this tablet instead of an iPad Pro because of the MicroSD Card, the 16/10 Super Amoled Screen, Dolby Atmos compatibility, Android customization, S-Pen, emulators and so on. There's no way I change my S4 for an iPad Pro. But I will maybe take the iPad 2019 as a secondary tablet when it will come out.

I've read different reviews for the Tab S4 and I frankly DON'T AGREE!! I have never had a issue from ANY of my Samsung products past and present... mind you I have a A10E, The A20, The Galaxy Watch, The Samsung Buds and as of now the Tab S4 and I'm more than pleased considering that the only thing keeping me with Apple was the seamless connectivity and Samsung has FINALLY given its customers a few more beautiful options!! Hello i am getting this tablet and wanted to know what microSd card you recommend for it . does the outside package show it is rated for A1 or A2 by chance and do you think 400gig of A1 is worth it over 256 of A2 speed for about the same price i think its 10 dollars difference .. Thank you
Thanks for your comment Jason! It really boils down to what you want to use the device for and what you value more. Speed or storage? While A2 is a significant speed difference over A1, you should also ask yourself if you will be putting apps on the card or the internal storage. If it's the latter than A2 is your best bet. If not, I doubt you will notice much of a speed difference over A1, and the extra storage space might be more beneficial. Hope that helps!
@@TheTechVengers thank you for the reply. i am kinda disappointed that there is not more out for this tablet , like rugged style cases also the lack of information . i couldn't find what it will stream movies in even calling various companies such as Netflix and Vudu. even Samsung wasn't much help. i just got off the phone with Samsung and they told me this is a A1 device but the person helping me kept putting me on hold trying to find the information out . i want this mainly for watching movies and playing a few games on such as Dungeons and Dragons games like Baldur's Gate II while i travel . .
If Samsung mentioned it's A1 then it's probably best to go with that. We didn't find any information on the card compatibility ourselves unfortunately. As for streaming, those apps are available for Android app it should work just fine and I don't see this thing having any performance issues with most games for Android. You can check the Play store as well to make sure it's compatible with your device

I am wondering which tablets should i choose, could anyone give me some advice? I am a university students and i want to buy a tablet to TAKE NOTES in the lecture and do some daily routines (ie watch youtube, play games, check email ... ... ) Currently i have a iphone6s plus and a samsung notebook 9always NP900X3T-K02 on hand. I could only afford it (include tablet of the wifi version and the pen) if it is below 600 USD. I am now considering the samsung tab S4 and the ipad 9.7 inch with extra paid apple pen. Hi Chan thanks for your question. So this one is sort of tricky but in summation, any one of those two options will be fantastic and will do the job for what you mentioned. Our advice is, since you are a student on a budget, look at what you can get for the cheapest price between the two. If you can even get last year's iPad pro with a pen, it's still fantastic and the bonus is that it will seamlessly integrate with your existing iPhone . (Eg: airdrop) . I love my Tab s4. I think its great . I put a case on mine with hand strap/shoulder so I dont drop it and I have had it a month now and dropped it a few times and it has yet to hit the ground.
Hey there thanks for the comment! The spen and the Apple pencil are both excellent for their intended devices. I've tried both and they are very accurate and precise. I have heard that the spen is more preferred for people with tendinitis, as it's size and weight work better for them. If you love android, go with the spen hands down!
Well the S-pen tech has exsisted way before smart phones, it's an excellencet precise technology and Samsung even improved it. And the stylus is cheap and replacable, it has. Fine point good for accuracy and it's pressure sensitivity is superior and it also has cursor hover. But you see apple did what is clever to market their device, taking the stylus design from Adonit, copying the tech from Wacom and placing on their tablet which they equipped with superior art software kicking Samsung and Wacom in the butt. So basically you would have to choose base on 1. Do you need productivity apps with almost desktop like features for Art? (Better ratio for artists,tho tab s3 has that almost same ratio,but bad for media ) 2.Or you need a better media consumption device with Dex and could have better apps in the future (also better display) also more customization
I am a Samsung and android fan. I recently bought an iPad Pro at Best Buy for $525 u.s. and another $50 off for open box. I wanted the tab s4 but for $175 difference I swallowed my hate for apple this one time. It’s ok for the price I paid, but no I won’t be jumping on the apple bandwagon.
Honest review. Still bought a s4 without the keyboard and purchased a quality Logitech mobile Bluetooth keyboard and mouse separately for less than the price of a Samsung keyboard accessory. Your right, I don't know who prices the Samsung product but math was not their best subject.

Both are really good devices and there are pros and cons to both, but we do find that the iPad Pro is a more polished product especially considering the Pro and the Tab S4 occupy the same price range. At the moment DeX found in the S4 isn't quite good enough to be a Desktop/laptop replacement, but has potential in the future.

As one user mentioned, it is possible to find the Samsung Book Keyboard case for $130 Canadian, and while the points in my video still apply, at the end of the day it integrates the best with the Tab S4 as they were designed around one another. So if you can find it for that price it might be the best fit for you. Personally I don't like keyboards built into my tablet case, I have a chromebook and desktop, so I tend to use tablets as a consumption device and rely on a swipe keyboard to write notes, answer emails, etc. That being said, Logitechs K480 has been my go to and integrates extremely well with how I use my devices. You can connect up to three devices via Bluetooth, and quickly switch between them with it's built in dial, allowing you to basically type on three separate devices without going through the hassle of pairing. It its much bigger than the Book Keyboard case, but it fits the Tab S4 well, is much more comfortable to type on, and is still portable enough to carry around. The one downside is that the Tab S4 bezels are quite thin, so it might be hard to use this keyboard and navigate using the touchscreen, but you can get around this with a Bluetooth mouse or track pad.
Can u please tell me whether it can support to connect 4TB hard drive (have usb A type connection as usual) through its usb C port. Please confirm me so I will purchase it soon...
Hi Sourav, we haven't tried it with a 4 TB drive but I imagine it should work, although you might have to jump through some hoops to get it to work. If you look online at how to connect 2TB or greater to an android device, you should find some useful articles that can walk you through the process. Hope that helps. Please let us know how it goes!
Hi TecVengers, thankful to you. I called Samsung care for this but one of the executives told me that this S4 tab is not supporting any kind of hard drive only u can expand its internal. One more thing I want to ask u please help me once again whether it will support 2TB HARD DRIVE or not via cable I also have 2TB SEAGATE hard drive. Really I am very confused about what I should do now...
@@TheTechVengers thank you for your reply! In fact, I'm a Note 8 user, and I found the default note taking app, which is "Samsung Note," doesn't support zoom in/out in its drawing mode... Yet "S Note" supports. Being able to zoom in grants me greater drawing precision
@@TheTechVengers So I found and install the app (S Note) from Samsung's "Galaxy Apps." I wonder if it still possible on tab S4~ PS: the app is also available on Google's Play market, yet the version available there is older, so I resorted to Samsung's own "Galaxy Apps" to acquire.
Hi thanks for your question! I don’t think you can unless Samsung updated the software. You definitely can on the Note 10, so there might have been an update to it. We don’t have the tab s4 with us anymore as it was sold just recently !
Hi Jesse, one really good case I recommend is the infiland Tab s4 case with pen holder. It's a solid case and not expensive at all. You can find it on Amazon . Hope that helps !

Really thorough. Changed my mind about getting one. I'm glad because I really didn't want but it has Bluetooth 5. Not many tablets do, but I'll wait. I want one with a stylus and BT5. Any suggestions?
I am planning on getting this soon even though the price tag is kinda expensive $784.55 the most I spent on a tablet is about $300 but need a good device for college use can't wait to get one with a case good review
Wow was thinking this device would go down in price after some time. Have you thought about checking second hand? There are amazing deals out there for second hand tablets and as long as you do your due diligence, you can score a great deal on one of these. I also like the oled screens, but am afraid to buy. I have a galaxy tab S2 9.7 with a battery life of up to 6 hours. ipad pro goes longer on baterij. also the updates, samsung 2 years max? I'm afraid of the battery life of the tab s4. for the ipad pro are the black view good when watching netflix or youtube? which choose ipad pro 10.5 or tab s4?
The one glaring problem with Samsung is that updates tend to lag behind. Their product support still does not compare to Apple but they are slowly making improvements. I would definitely suggest playing around with it at best buy or a store that has a product display. I would also suggest buying from a store that has a good return policy, as that's the best way to test out devices if you are still conflicted ! Good luck !
The only thing that turns me off is the price, but since the tab a doesn't have the s pen OR the ear buds in the box, I might just have to get this. The s pen is going to be the main driver for me since I love to draw, so without it in the box I would be dissapointed.
I am looking for a tablet that I can use as an entertainment unit like google books, video, and web browsing but also do some work when I out say at a cafe. For work, I need to use email, google drive and all the MS office features. The Dex sounds like a good fit as I can download files to folders and do drag & drop for email. What do you guys think?

How do you not put it in Dolby atmos my last Apple product xs max never switching back to Apple and haven’t used Samsung since the galaxy s3 I hated that phone got the iPhone 5s then xs max and that sht is the same just a stupid larger screen and updates that didn’t convince me so i returned to the all great Samsung love them
No problem. have you looked into the pixel slate? It runs Android apps and made by Google, so you have seamless and immediate updates and it works with a pen and keyboard!
IPad is probably too expensive unless I got the 7th gen. Would it still be worth getting the s4 or will it slow down quicker due to not being supported?
I would love to control the price of these =), and while I always want cheaper tech, Apple does offer alternatives that are easier on the wallet. Glad you're liking your tablet.
If you know, S pen has a feature (especially works with Samsung Notes App), by long-pressing the button, and it will become an eraser. So you do not need 'flipping-over the pen' feature
Last tablet I bought was the nexus 7. Durable, cheap, qualified. Too bad I can't find anything now days I'd want aside from maybe an iPad mini which isn't really worth it for me either between the os and no expandable storage.
Well said... Tab S4 is good... but iPad pro are way much better, for Tablet experience.. If you want Andriod Tablet experience then Tabs4 is best.. Same time if you want the best tablet., then no doubt it's iPad pro.. wait for New 2018 version..
Thank you for the honest review. As an android user, it is hard to switch to Apple when I have a lot invested into android. I wish Samsung would have put more into this tablet. The Tab S3 may be a better cheaper option.

I think just buying a phablet like the note 9 or the s9 plus is the better bet since it's big enough for watching videos and it's far more portable then this tablet
iPad Pro isn’t near the device that the S4 is and comparing the Surface Pro to it is just ridiculous. S4 is a tablet while the Surface Pro is an actual computer. If you’re going to post reviews, make sure you know what you’re talking about otherwise you just look like a clown

Not a problem! Also if you check out our dex video, we do an exhaustive review on how you can use the tab s4 as a full fledged desktop replacement (or at least close to one). We also have a part in there showing a mac keyboard and mouse being used with it I believe . Hope that helps!
I wish the galaxy note line would sync a little more seamless with their tablets. I switched from iPhone because my prosthetic leg application will not work with iPhones because their Bluetooth tech is outdated.
This is exactly why I (Jer) use the iPhone XS as a daily driver now. The ecosystem and seamlessness of using all devices within it is a fantastic experience. If the pixel ecosystem ends up doing this well at some point, I wouldn't mind giving it a go. Really want to make a video on the ecosystem experience and their differences at some point, so thanks for sharing!
I like both, I actually really like the note 8 a lot more than I thought I would so I picked up a Tab s4 to go along with it. I had iPhone for 10 years and I think it is still a bit of a learning curb for me. I am just tired of Apple's bullshit. I have 100,000 dollar plus prosthetic leg that an iphone can't connect because they refuse to update their Bluetooth tech.
@@TheTechVengers Hopefully! It was the reason I chose the original Tab S 10.5 back when it came out, was amazing for watching youtube and films. Felt weird to look at an IPS pannel with the backlight bleed on darker scenes after OLED. Good review on your part though. Really well presented.
Get this if you’re in the Google ecosystem and have a lot of Android apps. PUBG is another reason over the Surface. Those are two different devices. iPad is another whole story.

The back and forward switching between you sitting there and the product is extremely annoying, in a review I'd like to see the product as much as possible and not a person sitting behind a table, which is like 50% of the video.
Hi thanks for your question. Unfortunately it is not as it uses a proprietary magnetic connector to dock the keyboard. It doesn't act as a standard Bluetooth keyboard as far as we know
Huh!!?? The speakers are bad!? This tablet has the best sounding speakers I have ever heard on a tablet in this price range! I think there is something wrong with your ears!
well,, I just bought the S4 after giving up on SAMSUNG ever releasing a replacement for my GALAXY NOTE 12.2. my GN12.2 has been with me day and night for 4+ years and still a very capable pad but I feared its nearing the end of its life and I wanted to roll over to a new pad in unpanic mode... So, am I happy... its OK... but why o why SAMSUNG why isnt there a 12.2 version... when it comes to stylus pads SIZE MATTERS ! Some other downsides... GLASS back is slippery..(REALLY SLIPPERY). the old textured plastic is much more grippy...and secure SCREEN menu home, back buttons are a pain having to swipe up to access them... put them in the bezel Samsung VOLUME buttons are reversed... why the changE SAMSUNG? STYLUS must have a pocket clip on it... I use my older Samsung HM5100 stylus.. much nicer. STYLUS screen tap response is flaky... my GN12.2 is respnsive and consistently good I can live with it but my GN12.2 is better to use..... and I will buy another 12.2 Android stylus pad when it comes out....
No question is a noob question. Appreciate your inquiry ! Basically you can watch movies if you are connected to any internet source (if you are streaming the movie). So your home wifi will work perfectly. You can also have the movie loaded onto the tablet itself for offline viewing or on a microsd card so you don't have to rely on internet at all !
