Samsung is surprising us every year especially with their mobile devices like the S22 ultra which has an in built S-pen and this the tab S8 ulra14.6 inches. Any ways, loving this tablet just wish i could get my arms on it.

Honestly this isn't a bad laptop replacement. Just if you ever wanted to use it as a tablet, it is a hard miss. Price isn't that awful compared to most premium windows computers and you get a screen that is better than the majority of window computers and rivals Apple's MacBook 3K resolution displays. Plus Samsung always has their tablets on sale and the keyboard and folio is normally 50% off when you bundle. So not too bad.

Awesome review as always they definitely need to do more improvement on the spen cause when I try to copy text off a website it's a little buggy plus I have a screen protector on and I also enabled increase touch screen option too still a little buggy, also wanted to mention samsungs GOS (game optimization system) throttles the cpu and gpu if you disable it, it can give better performance

When playing minecraft it often limits the render distance to a small amount for no reason so instead of using the game settings go into the files and change into a higher render distance like 32,48,64 it will truly show how good this tablet is

@@alaaiyhab1465 minecraft is a terribly optimized game so to fix lag they lower the max render distance even though the device is more than capable than handling more render distance So to test a device on minecraft try increasing the render distance in the game files and increase it up to 32 48 or 64

@@Sdklc14 the reason that the game is unoptimised is because there is no optimisation in Java but there is a bare minimum of on bedrock yet that little of optimisation that bedrock offers completely changes how the game looks from Java that's why they probably won't optimise the already existing stuff but when new stuff comes out then they will optimise those things instead to not change the games feel and look

On bedrock render distance is limited by ram amount, so yes the CPU may be able to handle more but the ram isn't

I like the ultra but I already have the S7+ and the gains are very silm... and I'm not sure about the size... But the reason I haven't picked on up is the price is insane 1099$ they do offer trade ins discounts but honestly they need to drop the base price to around at least 750$... Heck I got my S7+ when it was still the newest flagship tablet from samsung new for around 450$ shipped no trade in... This is 2.5x the price....

I'm currently using the Galaxy Tab S7+ 5g so in a way I am glad they kept the design as it looks awesome. One negative though would be the silly dual camera notch on the front screen now that's not on the previous tablet. I mean I know they went 2 cameras but why the notch lol.

Because the bezels are so much thinner now compared to the other models so unless they had thicker bezels its the only option and at least the notch is incredibly small and not as intrusive as apples. And the front cameras are so nice compared to even the best laptops on the market. I dont mind it at all.

I've installed Bright Memory in my Samsung Galaxy Tab S7. This game not optimize for tablet I guess (especially above galaxy Tab S7 models). Because I can't change my graphics settings (sometimes work but crash), sometimes game freeze, sword button doesn't work, etc. So, I think it'll happen with SG Tab S8 as well. Developer didn't update this (Bright Memory) game for long time. Currently dev working on new Bright Memory (PC version).

You can add fps by going in developer mode and hit power monitor. Activate frame rate monitor tools and current monitor tool, wait until fps is loaded and close current monitor tool.

I love how cool this device looks, although i am much more biased to iPad Pro as every game will run near perfect on it, however i wont deny that i love that screen, i love the fact that they keyboard is probably cheaper and larger just overall such an impressive tablet if i wasn’t too invested in the apple side of things it may be one worth having

It's not a potato when it comes to performance. The Tab S8 Ultra does what it has to do. Sure, the iPad is some bit more powerful, but I on the other side just can't cope with Apple's OS. Other than that, iPads are cool.

Games on android are not optimized for bigger screen ,they are design for mobile unlike apple that has own version of IpadOS for ipads .If you look closely games are pixelated and terrible due to the scaling of resolution

The problem playing in tablet is, the screen is so big some of games are pixelated because the graphics is stretched, because more games not support playing on big screen.
