Thanks for the review Zaeem! One question, the S Pen to Text feature works well? It's reliable for regular use with samsung notes for example?

Good question! I suppose it really depends on your handwriting. S Pen to Text works well when I write in cursive, but it sometimes struggles when I write in lowercase. I think that might be because I space my letters out a lot, and it has difficulty figuring out where one word ends and the other begins. I find it easier to handwrite whatever I need to and then manually convert it to text later. That seems to be more accurate, in my experience. Plus, it doesn't slow me down or ruin my flow when I'm taking notes.

Hey man, i just got a fossil hybrid hr. Im waiting for a charger i ordered at ebay, a freind of mine gave it to me and he lost the charger. How is your hybrid hr going, is it still being supported and updated and is there and dimming of the e-ink screen?

Great question! Sadly, Fossil has discontinued the Hybrid HR and will no longer support it, so there probably won't be any more software updates. My one is still going strong. I use it every day, and I don't have any screen problems. I think I will keep using it until it inevitably just stops working one day.

@ZaeemSiddiqui Are you using an andriod or iphone? Ive got an andriod im worried that the andriod software might interrupt the hybrid hr.

I wish Samsung would cater to us media consumers and provide an OLED tablet option without the added costs of stuff like the pen and waterproofing. I have no desire to draw or go swimming with my tablet but I also don't want to sacrifice on image quality with any of their less expensive models. My S5e launched at $400 with AMOLED, quad speakers, etc. You now need to pay almost double that in order for OLED to even be an option without going with an older or used device. I don't expect prices to be the same five years later obviously but if they can put OLED in a $400 tablet in 2019, there's no reason to not have a cheaper option with one for us media consumers.

Agreed! Those features are nice, but not everybody needs them. Something with the price and build quality of the Amazon Fire HD tablets, but with the screen quality and speaker setup of the Tab S9 would be a good combination for an affordable media-focused tablet.
