I have been using Samsung phones for years and I really like smartwatches, but I value battery life and price over functionality. I wouldn't choose a watch that has to be recharged every second day. It will be interesting to see what the new features are and the battery life as well.

I love the square frame. You get more mobility in your wrist with a square frame than with a circle

Even using the standard watch face on my watch 5 pro the damn thing is laggy even after all updates. For the price tag of these watches they need to have superior usability and the one thing apple does well with their tech is how much smoother their phones and their watches are. Androids are amazing too but apple has the ability to enter an app and go back to the home screen launch another app with no lag whatsoever

hmm, I wonder if maybe you need to reset the watch. I didn't get a Watch 5, I went from a Watch 4 to a Watch 6 and the Watch 6 has been buttery smooth with excellent battery life (a solid 3 days).

My battery life has improved immensely on my watch 6 with the Beta software running and it's fabulous to not have to charge everyday. This Ultra could be a game changer with the updated software.

I still got the 5 PRO @ 590 mAh and i forget to charge, it keeps me 3-4 days no problemo...

I'm a pragmatic soul, so the shape is a minor concern. The active screen is still a circle. I could wish that the blood pressure app could be active in the US. I don't absolutely need an exact reading, more like trends/general area reading. I have an Omron for more exact (?) readings, but it's fiddly and not easily carried.

this watch is getting so much hate online on the r/galaxywatches subreddit. But personally, I like the look and design of it. With that said I won't be getting one because I just got a Watch 6 Classic a couple months ago and when it comes to watches I usually only upgrade about every 2 or 3yrs.

Not surprising if that's the case.... I LOVE me my Samsung devices... but it's funny that for all the Samsung used to bust on Apple for, they're just following suit..... no more expandable storage, no more headphone jack, now a square design on the watch, and even the Buds 3 looking like the Q-tip looking AirPods...
