This was fun to watch. I'm 72 and have been using an ancient Nokia no camera flip phone since 2006, family teased me for years. I saw the new Z Flip 5 in the T-Mobile store and no other phone would do. Got the mint green and taking it to the store for the SIM card and hoping they have some cases.

I also traded in my flip 3 for the 5. I didn’t care for the beginner cover screen at first but when i finally got it, I fell in love. I really enjoy the pink based purple they used for the 5. Most people seem to prefer blue based purples though

I have been loyal to Apple phones but I had many problems with the signal so I decided to get galaxy s23 ultra and I absolutely love it I am learning along the way how to use it and I have no problems Also I enjoy decorating my phone and knowing about the good lock application makes me happy because some of my friends have mentioned the reason they don't get galaxy is because its not customizable but the video changes that ima decorate my phone rn :))

Waittttt because this is my exact issue! I’m having problems with the signal and I thought it was because I live in an old house. Was actually planning to upgrade to the 15! Might get a Samsung but I will miss iMessages and the emojis. I prefer Apple emojis more than Samsungs 😣

I got an s22 ultra last year. I really wish I got the z flip 5 as it's compact and I would think it's not as heavy as the s22 ultra. I don't even use my s pen anymore.

I got mine last week. Bought a clear case and bunch of paper with glitter and patterns. I cut as the size of the back case. Voila! Same like having case with patterns!😍😍😍

Six-year iPhone user, to this! I almost returned it too - I am SO glad that I did not. I found the most adorable case for (it looks like a high-fashion handbag, with 'designer' kerchief and all). Lol! After that, I just HAD to dig in and learn the differences from Apple phones, in order to operate it. Thanks to videos such as yours, it's gone well so far. I got the flip5 , but then my moms phone bricked, so I had to let her use it until she could get her own. Lol, she loves it and is excited to learn how to use it. Everyone asks her about it, and she's always showing it off. I ordered the sleepydaze rainydaze case from casetify, and it's coming monday. Hopefully, she won't take too long to give me my phone back 😂😂😂

@ronetired in my opinion, cons are: The flexible screen, you have to be mindful, but you don't have to baby it. No telephoto lens. No s-pin capability. The battery is smaller and has no dex support. Pros are: attention grabber, the cover screen is very useful, super customizable, the new gapless henge looks so much better. You have a hands-free selfie, and you can use the front camera while using the cover screen as the viewfinder. And it's hella cute. A solution for the battery is that there's a magsafe compatible case that you can use a battery pack with.

@yellowferret the first few days the battery lost its juice quickly. but i'd say around day 3 or 4 the battery started to last longer. apparently that's a android thing, it starts to save battery based on how you use your phone. for me, it has last me as normally as my iphone 14 did, which was all day. i normally use my phone for spotify, YT and twitter.

I currently have the s22 ultra but oh my god will my next phone be a flip! Theyre actually adorable!! All i want to look into more is if the camera is as good on the flips as it is on the ultras? The cameria is super importsnt to me (especially the amazing zoom capabilities with still a great picture quality) so hoping i can find that soon and maybe will treat myself to one next year :) this is soo adorable btw!

this is the perfect phone to me❤ it has good camera quality chipset with snapdragon 8 gen 2 can be flipped (ofc) so the size can be small n large! the bezels are symmetrical smooth with 120hz and moreeeee

I just dumped my iphone 14 white for this. I bought lavender flip 5 and I really love it. Will never go back to iphone. I love that the cover screen now can even support whatsapp, watching netflix and everything.
