I got mine last Wednesday, as an iPhone user for the past 10 years I have to say this is the best phone experience I've had in years. FYI just keep Samsung screen's protector on.
iPhone user since iPhone 3 to 10s and than they moved back to the original square case just lost me . I saw today the Samsung z fold today and i loved it but switching from apple to android was a deal breaker but just watching your video i just saw how much apple is behind . Im going to buy samsung for the first time ever omg i hope Im doing the right thing
One week of ownership and omg 😲 this z fold wipes the floor compared to iPhone , the costimaisation of the z fold is endless , this is the next best thing from the original iPhone launch hands down .
The consensus on r/galaxyfold from multiple Samsung reps is that removing the screen protector or adding a 3rd party screen protector will void your warranty
Coming from a Galaxy S7 my first new Phone in years I personally don't mind the factory screen protector. It feels close enough to glass and the friction is kinda nice When Using the S pen. I have my phone and edge panel set up exactly like a windows Pc which I have always wanted
@@DroidModderX Well you placed an amazon link to the silk dome screen protector which is sitting at a 2.1 score overall so it's safe to say - garbage ! Good review though !
Very useful indeed. I'm coming from the Note line of phones and this Z fold is a beast I must say! Thanks for all the useful tips once again and keep up the gr8t work.👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
you messed up the take selfies with the main camera tip. you started with the phone open then you hit the button in the top right and it activates the cover screen, but theres no controls on the front screen. if you start with the phone closed, then open camera and press that button in the top right, there will be a popup that says "take selfies with the rear camera, open your phone", now open your phone and you will have all the camera controls on the front screen but it will be using the main cameras.
The case that comes with the pen...the whole part that holds the pen slides off so it is the same case as that leather one without the stand clip. Reviewers never seem to know this.
The multitasking screen is the catch. I've not used it optimally but I am.sat8sg8ed that it is there and working very well.. can you send the link for the Otterbox case? Please?
@@Grandhof removing the screen protector on 1&2 voids the warranty. Removing the screen protector on 3 won't void your warranty. If you damage the screen in the process the damage isn't covered.
I got a Fold but after a week, my back started killing me. It turns out that you should always by a special accessory with this phone.........a crane to help you carry the Fold around.
@@DroidModderX Tell that to the 14 million or so phones (and their owners) that are broken every year. When you can't hold the phone well or have a decent way to carry it, there is a problem. This includes the new iPhones 23vand 13, the S21, the S21 Fold.
@@LJLMETAL well, 5he cameras are not good. Don't believe the content creators. Also, for video's the screen does not accommodate the videos properly or go into true 4k hd. The separate keep board when typing is just a mess. The front screen is so small and congested that it is hard to use. And I have small hands. The battery life is NOT GOOD.
Don't listen to any of the negative nonsense. This phone is worth every dime if you can afford it. One of the top 3 phone on the market to date. Please check Flossy Carters full review on the Z Fold and make your decision if you haven't already. I'm a Note guy and I thought they will never be able top that line of phones ever, oh how sadly mistaken I was.
I also have the Galaxy Z fold 3 and I don't see edit on mines for quick toggle I see quick panel layout status bar and contact us what am I doing wrong?
A few days ago I got my Samsung Z Fold3 (an upgrade from my Note 10+). Quite happy with it and enjoyed your RU-vid video on it. One issue that bugs me is the presentation of WhatsApp. Yes, all the screen sizes can be altered for the apps, however, on opening WhatsApp on the folding screen, WhatsApp uses the left side to display the names and the right side to display the messages, pictures, videos, etc. So, the information I am looking at has in fact become SMALLER on the screen. On a computer/laptop this works well, but on the Z Fold3 the reduced size is not something I like. Is there any way to have the messages, pictures, videos, etc. displayed on the full screen? Thanks for the help. Dinshaw Cawasji
You can fix this in display options > screen layout and zoom and change to standard view. This will affect some other apps like settings. After using both I ended up keeping the default personally
Has anyone had issues with the video calling not working on snapchat? I have tried everything to get it working and still a no go. All settings are check, cache delete, app deleted multiple times, restarts, allow camera settings are allowed on snap, nothing!
i really like this phone. but for the price, i bought a 512gb ipad pro with apple pencil, and magic keyboard. It just doesn't make sense to pay 1800 for this phone. It needs to come down drastically
I totally get what your saying, I love apple computers and my ipad but I think the people that are buying this phone, is doing it for the functionality. I can't put it in my pocket and go.
@@JoJo-oo7zt I haven't gotten my phone yet but from my experience android phones don't do that 🤷🏾♀️ you will either have to send a couple of photos at a time using several text message or use a 3party app to send it all at one time (email or dropbox)...hope this helps
@@hillalicia35 oh OK, cool. I might return it. It's a nice phone but it's a bit bulky and heavy. I am having a hard time mirroring my iPhone apps, not all is available. I also don't have access to visual voicemail. I'll play with it for a few more days and see if it grows. I love the big screen though and keyboard.
After reading your post I open text message and clicked on 15 photos and was able to send them without a problem.. 1 look to the left of the message box you'll find an arrow ">", click on it.. 2 select image gallery gallery 3 choose as many photos as you like. This was an issue with my S20 but it seems to work fine with this phone. Also one of my big reasons for getting this phone is that I'm able to keep all of my files and images on my onedrive. My gallery is set to automatically uploads any photos taken almost immediately to my OneDrive and deletes the local copy. I mentioned this as I'm not sure if this is the reason why I'm able to send as many photos.m Edit. I was able to send a maximum of 30 images on the high quality setting, it may be less if you set it to original or more if set to normal
Nice info. I want to buy a foldable with each half of the screen as big as the LG v60 screens, kind of an XL size foldable. These early foldables are too small, better for female users hands.
Got this stupid phone for my girlfriend on 26th, today she was lock out by the damn thing. Fiscal , password and finger none of them work and because it was so new hadn't have time to setup all the fund my phone and remote unlock yet end up have to do a hard reset and going to take few days to get everything back, wtf Samsung.
Nice to have so many tips but this is 2021, the spec now can handle animation really well. Please stop teaching people on scaling down the animation. I used to be the one until someone told me: please give it a try, you are going to like it. And now, I have my animation scale unchanged. Unless someone has medical condition who will be affected by the animation, otherwise, it is best to stay the same.
