I have the Fold 2, 3, 4, and 5, and now the 6 in white. I was thinking it was going to be the same old phone, but I can't explain how different it feels. I've been using my 6 way more than my 5. I love it
I just don't see any reason to replace my Z Fold 5. I run it in light mode and with power saving on, it never bogs down. These processors are vastly more powerful than they need to be. The only practical advantage to the Gen 3 is battery life. That shape of the 6 is like my old Note 20 Ultra, and that sharp corner was forever digging into my palm. I do think the 6 looks better but I rock a case that protects everything including the hinge and also has a kickstand and a stylus holder so you really can't see the corners that well. The only thing I miss about a flagship camera is they will generally zoom to 50 or 100X and that's like having a telescope in your pocket. The 30X just isn't any better than your naked eye. We watch birds and it helped to be able to zoom in on them at 50X. But for regular photos, its a very good camera, just not quite flagship quality. Great review. My brother replaced his Fold 3 with a 6 so I'm kinda jealous!
The corners aren't as hard on the palm as the z fold 5. It's definitely worth the upgrade 😉. But only if it fits into your budget. Otw z fold 5 was very practical for day to day use 😊
I traded in my Galaxy s24 ultra for the z Fold 6 in crafted and got a 1000 dollars and samsung doubled the storage from 256 gb to 512 for the same price cant wait to get the new phone. Great video 😊
I have a friend who is a professional photographer who bought the fold 6. He loves the cameras and think the phone takes great photos. Now keep in mind he's a photographer who does this for a living.... and none of you guys who are knocking the cameras are photographers. You guys kill me. LOL!
J could you do a pre pixel release video and kinda give us your take on the upcoming pixels. Not necessarily the fold, but the other ones. I am kinda like you in wanting them to make a small pro model. That’s the one I’m most interested in. I will definitely be getting the pro. Just wanna know what you think about it.
I love my rounded edges but I'm actually really liking this hardware as well. Although it's not much of an upgrade or different, at the same time I can still feel there is a difference. I'm happy I upgraded 💜.
Great video. I love the fold 6. Coming from the s22 ultra. I agree about the camera. Only thing I worry about is how much better will the s7 fold be! Lol.
I got the S24 Ultra and 3 days ago picked up the Fold 6 this is the best phone combo i ever had. I use my S24 Ultra as my main phone i use the Fold 6 mostly for media consumption movies and youtube.

My fold 3 bricked on me yesterday, so I picked up a 6. I really like the improvement so far. Plus, ATT gave me $1100 trade in for the 3 that barely worked.
@@iantru9929 Too bulky with a case... went caseless with my Fold 5, dropped it 3 times on accident (because it's slippery as hell), and barely a scratch (functioned without issue). Now going caseless with my Fold 6. All these reviewers are always saying the build quality is great with Samsung phones (metal frame, latest Gorilla Glass technology, etc.), and it's part of the reason why their flagships cost so much, so I'm going to trust their assessment and go caseless going forward with all my flagship phones (still using a screen protector, though)...

That front screen looks just as small in your hands as mine. 😂 I'm kind of tired of the one-handed use argument. The Chinese have the right approach with hardware. I hope Samsung just capitulates and follows suit. That would change the game in North America. The speaker and overall audio on Fold 6 are poor compared to Fold 5, but it's a mild upgrade overall. I just wish it were a more exciting evolution.
I've been using my Z Fold 6 for some time now and honestly I'm still on the fence when I go back to my Z Fold 4. I'm supposed to trade in my Z Fold 4 but now I'm seriously considering returning my Fold 6 and sticking with my Z Fold 4. I use both in a case and the main big difference between the two is the superior hinge design. Other than that I honestly don't feel it's worth it. I'm thinking of waiting for the Fold 7 since to me the changes are not enough. There's virtually no difference in the crease and it's still way too reflective! I want to go back to my OnePlus Open but now I also have the Galaxy Watch Ultra which is amazing.
I upgraded from the 14 pro max and I'm really liking the experience but I would suggest you go to a store and get a feel for it before making the swap.

Turning off WiFi throttling and other things running behind the system that was not supposed to be running and draining the battery. Samsung is the opposite of a pixel lol my first one too
Thank you for your honest review, I want to buy a foldable phone for the first time, I have s22 ultra, should i go with oneplus open or fold 6 or buy a chiense foldable like Honor magic v3
And mine for some reason is saying that it last 19 hours full charge. I don't know how to improve that. But it is getting frustrating. I love the phone otherwise but technically I charge it in the morning and after dinner to last me all day comfortably. And I'm fortunate enough to work from home so I always have a charger available but it makes me think about the times that I will be out the whole day. Also charging speed is not that good and that seems to affect when charging on the car. I'm losing battery when using wired android auto. Something that didn't happen with the s24 ultra.
Bought it had it for one day and sold it. Wasent impressed at all. The back feel so cheap and thoose camera rings are so cheap also. The phone dosent feel premium and its an android thats my biggest gripe.
Do they actually make phones now for you to upgrade every year I don't really think so I upgrade every year cuz that's just what I do but I think the average consumer upgrades every two to three years and that's why they what they do 7 years of updates now is a people are keeping their phones longer so don't expect these phones to be a big leap from year to year would be a big leap from your phone from 2 years ago probably so
Big mistake if your used to iPhone camera images. OnePlus Open 1or 2, or Pixel Fold 9 Pro way to go in US. Any China phones with global rom also good. For best software IMO Google runs cleaner with less extra app bloat that Samsung basically needs to stand out.
