I personally don't mind a crease, but after using my zfold 3 for a 1.5yrs, the crease gradually turned into a visible hairline crack and would make crinkling sounds when I opened it. So, I wasn't a fan of that. Is that still an issue with the newer models?
This is really usefull in graphic designers like me specially the sketch into real photo Ai features, Samsung did an amazing job again. ... I hope it will available to Samsung s24 ultra soon.
Ridiculous indeed. The fact that this video doesn't straight up laugh this product out of the room is just an abomination. I get that the reviewers didn't have to pay for the phone herself but come on, it's a phone with a five year old design for the price of one of the most expensive laptops. It's not even worth reviewing seriously imo
Samsung said they will roll out the latest Galaxy Ai to the Galaxy S24, S23, S22 series, plus the Tab S9 series (not the FE ver), Fold 5/Flip5, Flip4/Fold4. Plus, just like the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung will also provide 7 yrs os + security updates as well.
I went to the local Samsung store to try out the Galaxy Z Fold 6 today and I love it, but the only down side is that the inner screen is too fragile. I almost drop the phone after opening it and my finger nail left a mark on the screen when I tried to catch it. If an accidental scratch from a finger nail can leave a deep mark, I'm very sure other much harder object can also cause more damage to the inner screen. If Samsung can upgrade their inner screen to be more scratch resist in the future, then I will 100% switch to a folding phone. Now, not worth it.
What you “scratched” was the screen protector which Samsung will replace the first one for free and $20 after that. Under that is the flexible glass panel and a led membrane. There’s nothing wrong with the inner screen and you were handling a display, pre-production model.
Key here is it offers very little vs the Fold 4 aside from the 7-year OS updates vs the remaining 2-year on the Fold 4. Else, unless one is facing pricey repairs, not worth shelling another $900 including credits to upgrade. I frankly always wonder about the weight : who is walking around a $2000 phone without a 200g protection cage? What's 30g difference?
I can just tell you've never tried the Z Fold 6. Not sure you even tried any Z Folds. But everyone who's holding onto Z Fold 3 and after are walking around with the new Z Fold 6. I've had Z Fold 3 and just picked up Z Fold 6 and they put the Z Fold on whole new level, I must say. You won't believe how light it is, how slimmer it became with all new features including the AI features and so much more. I can't list all of them here. If you know, you know. If not, ain't nobody gonna try to convert you into a Christianity. You would definitely walk around with the Z Fold if it was $1,000 or less. So it's all about the money.
@JohnnySin-cp7fz do you use the Zfold as your everyday phone? Honestly all i use a phone for is messaging, and streaming sports. Deciding between the Z fold or s24 Ultra.
@@tyronebiggums69 Big screen tv = better for streaming sports, even a brain dead person knows that.Z Fold has been my daily for years now. I do carry a a beat up iphone on the side just in case someone tries to rob me of my phone. I give them that.
To be fair, it is necessary to say that the Spanish used is neither correct in pronunciation nor grammar. This can affect the translation. The correct sentence should be "Al salir de aquí, tomas el tren N y entre cinco o seis paradas vas a llegar a Times Square."
Yes, just like the sketches... the phone usually gives a few options. This review made it seem like it only generated a single image being a book on the cats head and an obscure eiffel tower. It almost feels intentional. However, it should be honest, at least.
Negative points of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 The exorbitant price Charging at 25 W, Charging still so slow. A battery life that remains average The screen fold remains visible The smartphone can heat up when multitasking No space for the stylus Fingerprint sensor on the edge No major developments No Wi-Fi 7 Noticeable heating. Screen calibration could be improved CPU strangely restricted S-Pen stylus not supplied. Wretched internal front camera
4-5 years later, foldables will be distinct. It's like saying my next ride in 4-5 years will horses instead of donkeys. Five years later, everyone is driving cars and riding in autonomous driverless cars. Foldables will be distinct 5 years later, numbnut. There will be something else, rollables, chips, projector off the wall, etc. Surprised you even have the internet talking nonsense. Throwback must be your middle name.
You'll never notice is. You won't know the taste of peach if you keep tasting them bananas wondering what the real peach tastes and feels like, if you know what I mean. Oh believe me, peaches are different.😎😎😎🤭🤭🤭
It's like saying I'll wait for iphone 3 when the price goes down to like $99. FYI, iphone 2 was $199. Just say you're broke af and can't afford it and no balls to make the move! Cost of tech will only rise even though the product made off it will depreciate but you will NEVER pay any reduced price off of that product. If you're that smart, you'd be making your own phones.
@@kokop1107 From now ago??? From now ago?????? If your brick theory is even 1% right, it would be called Z Fold 4. But no, oh look, it clearly says it's Z Fold 6.
"Big upgrade" pushes the narrative too far to fiction. It certainly isn't, just iterative or year-on-year expectations (like a chip). AI will be coming to all phones, so buying for that is not sensible. Best to avoid the hype over generative AI as this is cloud-based and available everywhere. The conservation mode is okay at a push but not really that practical, and it is an exclusive feature Samsung bought off Google, so it will no doubt arrive in other devices soon, if not already.
The fold 6 needed a bigger front screen, bigger battery , 45 to 65 w fast charging, the dark corning non reflective glass, s pen outer screen, it was alright but incremental and I might wait until fold 7 or fold 6 slim. The software is excellent but the hardware needs work . I might get the book 4 pro 360 laptop or tab s10 instead. Its true Honor is winning w Huawei, Xiaomi , One Plus and Vivo in hardware. Its strange because the s24 ultra and my s23 ultra have good hardware. For me I'd rather buy the pro 360 4 laptop since I need a new laptop after my surface book 2 died and even despite wanting a foldable I will wait for fold 6 slim or fold 7 ultra until I get sufficient hardware simultaneously However , I will say when j tested the inner screen w the s pen and used sketch to image that was a very cool innovative software feature and I hope my tab s8 and s23 ultra get it too
@@nickthaskater Yeah, I've had 2 of the Samsung Z fold phones in the past ( 3 & 4). I see the cameras haven't changed much, which is why I haven't returned.
@@nickthaskater And your last sentence proves and provides the necessary info I need, in order to wait until they get as great as the S24U. Since after all, I have purchased every iteration of the NOTE series, including the note 4 edge, which I thought was one of the best out there, in terms of innovation. That goes for the watch series as well.
@davebassi7340 precise me, somebody has spoken the truth. When they had tizen OS it had really good battery efficiency on their watch, but failed miserably, so they ended up. I'm going back to wear OS like they were before adopting tizen, and that just shows like he said, they failed miserableen and could not do it on their own
I have faced two issues with my S23 Ultra after switching from an iphone 1. All the contacts i had saved on my iphone get automatically deleted. Anyone else faces that issue? I am manually adding them back from recycle bin or turning off sync basis the 'solutions' on the net 2. Only call and sms notifications wake up the screen. No other apps, this is very very painful. This phone is tempting but i fear, the investment i will make on this phone will give me the same issues again!
@@superiortoall22 it absolutely replaces a tablet. I replaced my Note 10+ and Surface Go with a Fold 4 (now on a Fold 5). Haven't looked back. It can even replace the bulk of what a PC is used for thanks to Samsung DeX.
On Gemini's defense his Spanish was not great to begin with. He seemed to be translating himself in his brain before speaking, and the way he said things were like reading a bad translation to being with. Simplemente su español no fue fluido y tampoco sonó natural. Asumo que la IA tuvo problemas tratando de traducir lo que dijo lol
Sure you have to critic something, if you can't afford it don't complain that you can't buy it. 100 💯 extra for a brighter screen a faster better more efficient processor better technology on the inner screen more durable slimmer😂😂😂 I think I got over $100 worth😂😂😂
Let me fully endorse Motorola for you... First non Samsung phone I've owned, and at $300 it does everything my Notes did at a literal QUARTER of the cost (albeit the stylus is nowhere near as good). Very happy
I'm absolutely so happy I made the jump to Motorola for 1/4 the price of Samsung... It does everything I need and want extremely well, and if I drop and break it I don't feel I need to limp along with it for 3 years to get my value out of it.
You made a huge jump! Might as well stay by the wall and be connected to a landline at all times. Literally free, it does everything you need. Right??? Right??? LOOOOOOL you broke af.
It sucks they failed. They didn't listened to the consumer. No better cameras among other things but they pay RU-vidr to talk it up. If you see honest reviews it states no need for upgrade unless fold 3 or 4
Thick as a brick. Surfboard front screen still. Still limited to 12gb RAM. Best thing they have done is add some dust resistance so its IPX48 resistant vs the other foldables at IPX08. Otherwise, power, battery, weight are all second or third class compared to other options. Be thankful you dont fight Honour or Vivo in western markets. Samsung, thats your one saving miracle.
You're wrong about the weight and battery. Samsung Foldable is on par in terms of weight compared to these Chinese fordables. Most importantly, according to GSMARENA battery comparison, Samsung's 4400mah performs better or on par compared to those foldable that have 5000+mah battery. And ONE BIG THING that Chinese foldable don't have is the 7yrs OS update
@@aldwin360 You're really telling me a 4, 400 milliamp battery is going to outperform a 5,700 one? And sure, I will grant you they offer 7 years. I don't think I've seen a company in the mobile phone space follow through with that outside of fairphone. And even that was sketchy
@@blaster915 Nope, those 5700mah will sure win. But the fact is that a 4400mah is on par. For example, a OnePlus Open that just means lower capacity doesn't equate to lower battery endurance. And yes, Samsung will clearly support the device for 7 years. When they announced to support earlier devices for 3 years, they stayed true to it. When they promised 4 years' OS updates, they still stayed true to it
