I have bought both the gear 2 and apple watch. I would definitely recommend the apple watch. The gear is laggy and has limited features compared to the apple watch. For example, the glances, O2 sat capabilities, and Siri has more capabilities.

I would get the Gear Neo model just because it has the features I would look for and need and it's affordable. There will always be something better coming out sooner than later especially now after Google introduced their Android Wear line. Thanks a lot for an awesome review. This has made it much easier for me to decide what to get!

This guy bores the hell out of me. He is doing a good job at selling it - because I just bought one, however he needs to change his approach. I fell asleep at one point and had to start over. Great review. I just got a gear 2 today. So far I really enjoy it. Apple better hurry up and put something out or I might have to keep using samsung devices. I like this S5 pretty well I have to say.

How can someone 30+mins into a review on an electronic device. Well this video is it, and was blown away. Question: How far can the watch operate away from the phone? Such as making calls, "Find My Device", and so forth. I also have to say wow, I thought on a watch you could do about 10 minutes at max if you talked slow, but this guy really did a great an outstanding review job. A+ brother! I live in a big house. If I was upstairs, could I "Find My Device" or "Make A Call" from upstairs while my phone was downstairs?

Another Samsung OS. How long will Tizen be supported by them. Befor they had Bada and that was the worst experience I ever had with a phone. The Wave 8500 itself was really nice, metal shell, good camera, great battery life, but the OS was just BS. I hope they do a better job this time, even though I don't want to get a Samsung phone after the "bada" experience.

The best smart-watch right now. I got the Neo and for what it's actually worth it's really a nice watch. Perfect size and nice style, looks good on my wrist. I recommend it if you're into that kind of thing.

Great review, it really shows off how much stuff these watches actually do. I have the original Gear watch and was thinking should I upgrade, I was pretty much deciding NO until I watched this review!

Hello! I've just bought the Gear 2 in Japan. Your Gear has a "Sleep" app as I watched your video,but My Gear 2(Japanese model)does not have it. What features does the "Sleep" app bring to us? Is it such a waking alarm? Would you tell me?

Thank you for your comprehensive review. I got talked into trying a gear 2 neo at the T Mobile store when They told me they could charge it on my T-mobile account at $8/month, no interest, and a 30 day trial period. After several days, I wasn't sure I wanted to keep it, until your video showed me how to realty use it. However, now I think I want the full gear to be able to add low file size contact pictures with out people getting nervous holding up a phone at them. One mistake in your review I noticed: you said the dialer app would bring up your contacts in the upper right corner of the screen, and that really excited me, but it actually only brings up your logs info. I wish you could set up the dialer app with the contacts accessible in the right corner instead of the log info.

I can only think you do a ton of research before you start your reviews? How do you get your hands on things like shell frames of up coming Apple stuff? Whenever someone asks me about the specs of my SG Note 3, I point them to your RU-vid channel!

Great review as usual. I counsel 1000's of Airline people regarding tech subjects and use reviewers like you to fill me in. Gear 2 reviews thus far have been very weak, however yours has been one of the better ones. One big issue killing Gear 2 thus far is that millions of folks use Yahoo Android mail, Facebook, Whatsapp, Tango, Viber, and many other very popular email clients and apps. Please add to your review which ones of these actually work. If Sammy doesn't add these necessary functions soon, I will have to tell all my people to wait for Motorola and Google, and other watches. Many want this phone for the camera & phone call features, but must be able to use with the aforementioned apps. Thanks.

.. And if you long press the top and bottom while on the home screen with two fingers.. One finger in each corner..top and bottom.. Opposite corners. You can move the home screen the way you would move widgets on a Samsung phone.

Thank you for this video. I'm switching to the Galaxy Note from an iPhone and was looking for a smartwatch to replace my Apple Watch while still having all or most of the feature I loved about it. I was looking at the Moto 360 but it lacked the features I was looking for and just seemed limited. The Gear 2 is definitely the watch for me.

Been enjoying my gear 2 neo. This was a great review. Just wish there was a way to instal minuum keyboard or fleksy keyboard or at this point any keyboard app onto it but other than than does everything it is supposed to do.

One question: what is the practical function with the Samsung Gear 2 (and similar products)? As I understand it, you must have a head unit (your phone) close to call, surf, etc., and then you might as well use your phone.

Great review , I'm still waiting for the original gear but you ever did unboxing of it.

I find it amusing that the very industry that all but destroyed the watch is now recreating it. With the Note 4, I can get a discount on this watch, which is why I'm curious how well they actually work and if they are practical whatsoever. The only scenario I can see is getting information and calls hands free while driving. Other than that, I'd much rather just pull out my phone. Very thorough review. Thanks!

Can you pair this with Galaxy s7 edge? I just don't know, because it is an older watch and came out 2 years before the gs7edge came out, so...

I just bought the gear 2 and the heart rare monitor is a scham, I took it off my wrisk, set on the table and it was still measuring the heart monitor without it being on my wrisk, I'm taking it back first thing tomorrow
