i just replaced the battery on mine....fixed the overheating issue that recently came up. battery lasting longer too now

Mine too. After the latest update last year, I still get a day and a half with always on display, and two and a half with it disabled.

Just found my old frontier in a random box....haven't worn or charged it since 2018. Put it on a wireless charger and still works like a champ 😂

I don't have a video on mine, but I've had this watch for 8 years. I also live in Hawaii and wear this thing in the ocean every time I go. I do construction for a living and definitely hit it a lot. The glass is definitely scratchproof, it holds up against water and sand, and 8 years later I still love this watch. I constantly look for a new one and can't find anything equivalent

The AI sounding voice doesn't help xD it sounds like a voice, but the voice sounds like an AI used it for a text-prompt. Regardless, I found it for only 33$ on ebay and this video explained enough!

If you disable all the extra features, leaving only the dial to activate the screen and use it solely as a watch, the battery can last up to 6 days. The animated watch faces are a highlight for me. Repairing it is incredibly simple-if the display glitches, you can just buy a new top half and you're set. Even in 2024, I believe it's a fantastic budget-friendly smartwatch that looks great.

@@hycron1234 hi, Im considering getting this right now mostly because its the only smart watch I've been interested in since i was small and I can buy it myself now instead of asking my parents lol, besides using it like a watch, any features and stuff thats not working right now that the support from samsung isnt there? and whether its alright for me to go for the gear s3?

Is it still 2016?. video only tells the story if your still in 2016. It says nothing about support in 2024 like app support. Which is almost nothing. Ik like the watch but beside's the time, not much extra. You need a samsung phone for the health apps to work, other android phones or Iphone will not work with health apps on the watch.
