Out of the box thinking for componant fail' the backlight protection seems to be the bad boy in most black screen issues , good vid .......................

That SMD transistor, the size of a half grain of rice was the culprit... Tracing it with continuity mode of the tester is the best way...

Hi, you're great! How did you understand that you didn't have to stop at the first transistor, the second diode but get to the backlight transistor? What would have happened if I removed the first transistor or diode? (The TV still turned on) Thank you
