Great video. I followed it step by step while disassembling and reassembling 2 machines side-by-side to swap some parts, and it worked flawlessly. Thank you!
Thanks for this useful video. This content is still really helpful in 2023! If somebody follows these clear instructions step by step success is guaranteed. Thermal paste replacement prolongs the life of the CPU. After reassamble the screen (display) remained black but this was my fault. I reconnected the RAM memory modules wrong (not precisely). Pro tip: if you do not know how to separate the lot of different kind of screws from the different layers just use an egg carton :D
Fantastic and clear video thanks. Shame Samsung decided to use a soldered rtc battery rather than the usual replaceable penny type. This would have solved the locked BIOS problem in an instant.
Is the connector you remove at 4:03 for the microphone? I'm having to replace the motherboard on my NP350V5C A06 and when i came to disconnect this part it was just a cable shoved into the port on the motherboard (there was no plastic cover connected into the port, just the cable itself having been pushed in). It looks like the wire for it travels up into the screen itself but except for the words 'JMIC' written underneath the port (on the motherboard) i can't find anything definitive to tell me. What's strange is, if this is the microphone, it worked fine, yet looking at it, i can't believe it would work based on the fact it's just loosely forced in.
Hi. I have an old laptop that I bought in 2012. It's i3 Samsung NP350V5C-A03AE and I want to install the Samsung 960 EVO PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD into it. Looking at your video I believe there is no slot for M.2. Such a shame. It's either I buy a Samsung 850 EVO SATA III SSD or buy a brand new laptop which has a slot for M.2 SSD.
Gigabyte 240 gb Crucial bx500 240 gb Apacar panther as340 240 gb Hp 240 gb SanDisk plus 240gb Teacher, I want help from you, which one do you think I should take
Thank you, great video. I'm still using this laptop from 2012! Mine got i7 and 16gb rams but it doesn't seems going as fast as it should...would clean it help? I also would like to use the max of my graphic card for games etc. Any tips/advices welcome :) cheers
I had a problem with this kind of laptop. The charging port is not properly working and I don't know if the issue is the port or other part, because my laptop doesn't have a battery since it is broken a long time ago. BTW, the charger is still working and doesn't have any issues, I think the only problem is the port, I just don't know if it could possibly repaired since it is an old model or of there is still parts of it.. I hope there is.
I tried disassemling this old laptop of mine, now the main screw of the optical drive is now stripped screw even when I tried using smaller screwdrivers. What can I do to remove this screw tho? I tried the rubber band technique but it didn't work.
Have a NP350E7C-A01US that will not power on, blue light goes on for few seconds, no fan turns on. I did try all the tricks, removing HDD, swap memory, remove battery, adapter measures 19V. I am helping a friend who needs for his kid and before I dismantle wanted to know what I may be facing. TY
Hello question... what is that wire at 5:13 that is about to have its screw holding it down, unscrewed? In my laptop that wire has been sliced by the hinge (my left hinge has broken off from anything solid making it rise up; respective to the ground, when tilting the laptop screen up and outwards)
Hey out there.... I have a NP350V5C AO8UK and want to upgrade from an i3 to an i7 CPU..... - Is anyone aware of any compatability issues or any other tips that may help me? - Should I only consider buying an Intel CORE? There are lots of models; what one does this machine need? - Are there any cheaper 3rd party options that are still worth buying? Thanks in advance! :)
Hi, thanks for your video. Do you know if CPU in this model is replaceable? Or is it soldered? Sorry if it's obvious, but I am a newbie, and i can't tell. ;(
In the top left corner there is a small wire that comes from the power connector and is screwed down to the metal hinge, what is that wire for? Is it to earth the laptop internals? 15:12 I am having an issues where is I move or touch the laptop in a certain way it suddenly turns off. I can't see any broken resistors or anything on the board broken, so what could it be?
i know im randomly asking but does anyone know a trick to get back into an instagram account?? I stupidly forgot the account password. I would love any assistance you can give me!
