I tried to love bixby but its stupidly disgusting. It doesnt understand me. Hell SIRI always gets it done almost 100% all the time. I love samsung but zero love for bixby.
Im so glad samsung is finally making their UI more playful and modern, we got hints of it in the Flip cover OS like the smooth transition animations and playback bar. I was hoping they'd adopt this into the main UI and they did! Love the updates, esp the new quick panel (wish the first stage with notifications looked different too), emojis that look good and finally are more consistent in expression with all other emojis, and cleaner font! It's crazy how changing the default font gives the OS an entirely different feel. It makes the whole OS feel more fun and not as utilitarian as before, can't wait for the official release for my Flip 5! Im so glad Galaxy is no longer the janky mess it used to be years ago, surprisingly I prefer it over Pixel which i did not expect My biggest gripe is that i wish they revamped the app icons, not a big deal bc i use custom icons anyway but it would go a long way into making One UI feel fresh at default bc most people just use that
Bixby text call is similar to call screen on the pixel so actually it is useful. I use it all the time when I get scam calls. One ui 6 looks more than just visual changes can't wait for the s22 ultra to get the beta
Why would they move anything at the top where you cant reach it? The whole point of one of the One UI updates was to move things to the bottom so you could use the OS one handed, did they forget? 🤦
Personally I think phones, as they are getting bigger, they have no choice but to have stuff at the top, like iPhones for example, they had their control panel at the bottom and not if at the top. But now they are both at the top, it’s inevitable, as you have to swipe up the come off an app. However you should also remember, if using one hand is really such a problem, there’s an incredible app called custom cursor, it’s actually worth the check, it’s incredible. If not then also note, if u really want to use one hand then it would have been a smarter choice to pick a smaller phone model. 😂
@@TypicalSullyEditz alright, listen here Levi, I get what you're saying but smaller phones have less features so I'm forced to get the bigger one. Plus my eye sight isn't great hence why I get the bigger screen. What I am saying though is why change something if it's not broke and it works?
Is it possible to restore the old quick settings panel (or at least move them down, to make one-hand use easier) with GoodLock (maybe the Quickstar module)?
When we create folder on home screen, even if there are only two apps in that folder, when you click on the folder, it will cover almost 80% of the screen. It should not be like that. I like Nova Launcher's Implementation in this case. Hope Samsung will improve it.
idk why they changed that quick panel layout. normally when u open quick panel fully, those wifi sound bluetooth icons gets to the bottom for easy access. now they are on top. idk what weeed samsung is smoking.
I know right, that is why I am not really bothered about One UI 6. I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, which is not getting One UI 6, so I am not really bothered by the newest quick panel design. I prefer the one on One UI 5.1.
Its been like 8 years that finally samsung changed their quick settings. but still looks horrible. They had to go the cheap iphone knockoff style. Chinese phones influenced crap ware. glad i moved from this trash OS
I have been using the U I. 6.0 Beta on my s23 Ultra it's pretty stable for a Beta in most of the apps I use Firefox, RU-vid, RU-vid TV, VLC, etc. THERE ARE BUGS tho some crashes that I have reported to Samsung... this is still a Beta.
Really? Damn I thought this one looked incredible, I wonder what those prototypes look like 😂, I can assume however they look somewhat more like iphones
The new quick settings panel isn't optimized for one-handed use, and I think the quick toggles are too spread out. I personally prefer the previous one.
Hell naw, this version is a lot better, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth have their own blocks, same with brightness. Before Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a bunch of other quick panel buttons were all mushed together in one quick panel. They are following the correct path of iPhone, separating Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and brightness sliders having its own section with dark mode and night mode makes everything so organised and easy to tap
@@itsgeorgee1260 very true 😭😭 However I must say, some stuff apple has are more convinent than androids. Like Thier control panel, currently androids have a very cluttered one, but this update will finally fix taht
Ngl I have a galaxy s10+ AKA the iphone 6 of Galaxy. Running Android 12 One UI 4 and the control panel toggle stuff looks exactly the same brightness slider there by default.
Thanks for your review On my view, the new version of OneUI is not impresssd on me anymore. I feel it's more complicated and the icon, bars,... less better than current one.
Control panel looks complete reverse from One Ui theme. Toggles are now too high. They should've kept them down and then tried to redesign them. The previous one looked nice with a clock in the top area.
it looks super smooth. i have an iphone 14 pro max and i feel like my 120hz feels like a 90hz in comparison to galaxy's 120hz. I heard s24 ultra will have 144hz i might switch to galaxy next year.
Hello, please, can you help me, I also have Android 14 and One UI 6.0 on my phone, I want to look for 2 applications on the play store and I can't find them, but when I search on Google, it says that your device is not compatible with this application. please, how do I proceed?
I have all these functions on my S23 ultra without the need to compromise my battery life or performance and most importantly the camera with these needles updates. Every long Samsung user knows that updates compromise everything... for what? For some stupid icons 😂
Most features , People wouldn't even use on any Updates, A phone is a phone, And doesn't matter what version you have and if you get the latest, Most features I think are just a remake to make you think your getting a real update, Still , most things Samsung does is trying to get money out of you by praying on people keep on getting updates, As long as most features work what we all use everyday, Wouldn't even bother updating to a new phone for android latest versions,
Just downloaded the beta and my goodness there are quite a few bugs. To be expected when it comes to betas, but some are really really bad. Battery is atrocious as well. Anyone considering the beta should wait a couple of versions before upgrading. The new font tho is really really nice. Makes the UI feel grounded and clean. Great new options too as your video discussed. Cant wait for full release.
I don't like this control panel because we are forced to use have wifi and Bluetooth on the top and can't rearrange them. I am ok to have two big buttons on top but they should be customizable.
Hope that those advanced features will be available for my A72 and not only for the flagship models. BTW the a72 is such a bad phone ..I totally regret it for buying it.
Again Thank you so much Sir for your videos,I enjoy them a lot,I have a S22 ultra,my still biggest issue is still the battery, guess I'll just wait for the s24
I'm sad that I won't be getting this update :c Seriously Samsung? I got two barely upgraded updates and now that my tab s6 lite has gotten it's last updated, I won't get this beautiful update? Awh
I just installed UI 6. I use the nova launcher. It's not possible to enable double tap to sleep with ability to use fingerprint to unlock the phone. Has someone here an idea how to manage that problem?
Ohh yes, finally, the album art for music is back 🎉 I was tired of grey dead and empty background for music in the notification bar. Android 11 had it 😢 but now it's back again 😅.
I'm wondering about the SIM settings, rn we have it in the quick panel (yk changing which sim to use for mobile data, calling and messaging) is there a way to have that there in the new ui too or?
