The soundbar is so new that your TV didn't recognise it properly and hence the fire stick could only see the capabilities of the TV, not the soundbar mounted "behind" it. If TV and soundbar had been the same generation then the earc connection would likely have worked. I have same thing, old TV without earc and soundbar with earc.

So which speaker mounts are good for the rear speakers to fix to a wall?

To me, it was more convenient to go with the floor stands. I bought ones from Ikea (Sympfonisk), although they are meant for their own Bluetooth speakers and would not be a perfect fit for Samsung, but I was too lazy to return them. If I can go back in time, I would probably do a proper research and buy some from Amazon...

Contemplating between this and 990c. On paper seems like not much differences. For the price gap isn't it better to have the 930c instead?

I really cannot tell since I did not test 990c. It has two additional speakers, and a slightly bigger (also better?) subwoofer. I guess it also depends on your room size which one to choose. Can all this justify the price difference? I am not sure.
