Here is a forced defrost instruction set. It provides a defrost command to the system: Forced Operation Function (Pull-down / R-Defrost / R.F-Defrost / Cancellation) "G". This function enables: 1) a pull-down mode; 2) a defrost mode for the refrigerator only; 3) a defrost mode for the freezer and the refrigerator at the same time; 4) and a cancellation of this function. To enter "G" Press Power Freeze button (Quick Ice) and Fridge Temp. buttons at the same time for 8 seconds simultaneously to enter the ready mode for a forced operation. In "G" the display panel will return to normal after 20 seconds in the ready mode. Before that happens, once in the ready mode, press any button(except Ice Type and Child Lock) once to start the pull-down operation, press twice for a defrost cycle for the refrigerator, press three times for a defrost cycle for the freezer and the refrigerator, and finally press four times for cancellation of this function. You will know it has begun because the fridge will continue to beep every second for 60-90 minutes. These instructions are found on page 30 of the manual

For those of you who are reading this now and have the problem with power going to it but it is not working and the display has gone blank except for a small green flashing light. Hold the 2 buttons as shown in the video and it will restart your fridge. It 'fixed' mine.

I have a Samsung Fridge freezer Model RS22FLMR, It's Flashing only with a green light, when I reset it by pressing Power Freeze button (Quick Ice) and Fridge Temp. buttons at the same time, it starts working and when the power is off in the house, it will start flashing the green light again until I press the 2 buttons again, what could be the problem?

Hi, u have just had a brand new modification kit on my rs21jgrs. I keep getting ice blocking the drain hole. Have changed the drain heater and rubber grommets. I don't understand why it continues to freeze up. Could the Pcb not letting heaters stay on long enough.

My Samsung RS21FHNS fridge, the fridge side is working fine but my my problem is the freezer it doesn’t stay at the set temperature; -25°) it keeps changing. It can come down all the way to -1°. Also it stays longer at -6° more than any other temperature, What could be the problem??? Pls help

My six month old Samsung fridge freezer stops freezing. But if I switch it off at the wall and wait a few minutes it works again. But then stops freezing again. So I switch it off at the wall for a few minutes, and it starts freezing again. I've bought a timer which turns the fridge freezer off at the wall every 3 hours for a few minutes, and it is freezing as it should, but it's obviously not ideal. Have called in the Samsung repairers, but no word from them as yet as to a date to come by.
