Man It's satisfying to see someone unboxing a 75" TV on their own. I botched up my 55 samsung unboxing cause i got too cocky and my fingers pinched the screen.
You deserve more subscribers mate! Underrated Review :)) Oh and Im looking to play games so, would you recommend this TV for 4K HDR Gaming? I play on a PlayStation Pro
See my reply to Purple worx's question in reply to kappa above. IMO the answer is a clear NO. For gaming you want a TU8000 or another brand. Given the extra cost of the 8 series a TCL tv is a better call for gaming at a budget. Or you can go for an LG which has G-sync.
fucked up part is you pay for what you get is relative. the fuck whats to be paying 6k a for a tv. only a moron who makes 6k a month would buy it living outside his means.
@@DTUnboxed we had it for a few days now, definitely had us bond even more, watching a lot of classic movies on HBO Max. It is 10" bigger than our previous Samsung curved tv which was 65".. but it makes a huge difference, now it really feels like a theater at home.
@@purpleworx6206 One positive to keep in mind when dropping down in size is that these are edge lit tvs and a few people have complained that they aren't getting quite the brightness they are used to on larger models due to the way edge lighting works in comparison with QLED or OLED. So imo edge lighting remains the best option in smaller panels due to its pricing. There ARE other factors to consider at the entry level and it all comes down to what you want from your tv. The TU7000/7100 has less HDMI ports than previously and whilst Samsung have upgraded the SOUND input to eARC it doesn't have the rest of HDMI 2.1's features such as Freesync - so if you intend to use it for gaming you may want to look elsewhere.
Is this worth buying in 2024 as a temporary buy as my LG has the blue tint and it’s driving me mad but I’m reading about the WiFi been faulty a lot it looks sound enough for the job?
Great video Dt unboxed, I’m looking to purchase but wanted to know which tv model is bigger overall between the 75ru7100 and the 75nu7100 overall screen size? Would be greatful for your help
Is this the same as the TU7000? I just ordered one today. Seems there's a few things on this model however that's not on the tu7000 like component out and 3 HDMI vs 2. Looks like a beast though! Going from a 60 inch to this should be quite noticeable.
I had to exchange this model 3 times due to the severe backlight bleed my RU7100's were having in the corners of the display. Not sure if Best Buy received a bad batch of Samsungs or not, but I finally decided to go with a 75 inch LG UM7570. Mostly satisfied so far.
As far as i can see the only difference between ru80 and ru71 is PQI, which is not that much! Upgrading from 1000 to 1400 won't make you feel happier i guess because it still in LCD BASIC rank! Me myself own ru7100 and honestly im not that impressed by the picture quality! Everything beyond 1400 pqi is worth to upgrade to, other than this is waist of time and money!
Great detailed video Dave, thank you! Just wanted to ask as I'm curerntly considering this 75" RU7100 TV here in the UK, is it okay for watching fast moving sports like football (soccer), formula 1 etc? Seen a few lerge screen TV's that suffer from really ovious motion blurring\trails etc? Heard it's great for gaming on which a plus but my main worry is the ghosting. Cheers :)
@@liviumititelu7397 The new UE75TU7000 is a far inferior TV than last year's model sadly. The refresh and motion rates have been halved and they also removed an HDMI and USB socket too! :*(
@@gazarnott thanks a lot! To be honest I dont need the USB socket ... What about motion rates ? To be honest I want to buy it to watch movies... Is going to be a great impact . Also there is a model Hisense for 1000£... but I think Samsungs are better
in Czech republic, this TV is currently (04-24-2020) being sold at 22000 CZK (brand new, from big known electro markets), which is approximately 870 USD. I thought it was expensive.
Hi, I'd like to ask you if the 4k stream on Netflix and Prime Video is possible, since I've heard that this TV does not support 5ghz Wifi. Can I watch 4k movies only with 2.4ghz without a LAN cable? Otherwise I need to buy a cable too. Thank you for your answer!
Does this tv support HDMI 2.1 with the ps5. On the best buy website it says it has MR120. Im not sure if these are the same. And if it does, do you knw what port it is?
I've got a wall mount that has a kind of scissor lift system that can be pulled from the wall and manoeuvred. www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-full-motion-adjustable-wall-mount-32-75-tvs-b/
@@DTUnboxed Thanks for that! I couldn't resist getting it and bought it from JB Hifi. Worked out a deal for $1495. 2020 range TVs are coming in now. All the best with future vids, subbing now!
@@tigerpride736 Whatever that means...originally that size wasn't my goal say 40" to fit a table, yet didn't know I wanted 50. Looking back would have been a meh had i went with my first plan. The room is dominated by the 50 so being closer enhances the experience.
bought this last year may 2019, power supply board already died got the 2 blink 5 time issue... so disappointed with this tv, should have stuck with LG like my other big screens in the house
