I've just ordered the 77" s95c for 2.700€ (around 2.900$) and should arrive by the end of next week. Can you give me some tipps/tricks on how to calibrate it/ adjust the settings, like for example disabling the Samsung TV plus app to avoid menu lags !
I have no perfect formula, plus everyone's viewing is different. as far as lag the processing on this tv is very good and I didnt have any issues navigating between the different apps.
@@WaltsTV we have the S95B also .. both TVs blow our friends minds how amazing the picture is .. hooking up an external streaming device like an Apple TV it's a much better experience than using the internal TV apps
not entirely sure, I use alot of random quality videos to shoot my b-roll. It was probably this one - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LXb3EKWsInQ.html
This is a good point, not everyone plans on mounting it on the wall so I try to give it an honest rating since I have heard good TV speakers before without mounting it to the wall.
Can you comment on reflection? In case I have stainless steel decorate at the back room, shall it reflect to TV? (turn off on all light bulb in the room). Thanks
possibly, the only TV I think would be able to handle that better would be the Q90C. But i dont think it will be too much of an issue, if it is any tv will struggle.
@@p99n I personally like the Lg g3 out of all the newer S95d , a95l , s95c, lg g4, the g3 beats all by its high peak brightness, clarity, naturalism, and 3d sharpness best for filmmakers and vivid modes. i have two g3 one 65’’ and one 77’’.
Hi , Thanks for the video . Can a Play Station 3 remote work with this OLED , also can a PS3 take advance of the Game Bar sub-sys. ? I do worry about burn in and I would be using this display as a multi use , movies - streaming // gaming // and Mac Mini use ( computer ) . I like the idea of OLED and they have used it in camera displays for decades , but you still hear horror stories of how new users have ruined there new tv . Any suggestions to allay my fears of causing damage ? Thanks again , Dreamer
Hey so basically with burn in in these newer oleds especially QD-OLED it is less likley then before. The only caution I say is if you watch news for more than an hour a day. its static images that you want to stay away from.
Any way to fix motion processing issues? No matter what I do, even with the image clarity menu, it’ll always stutter if a lot of motion is happening on screen. Doesn’t seem to be doing this with games, but it’s doing it ALL THE TIME with movies.
is this a lot better than LG C3 with dolby vision? or s90c even without dolby vision? im helping my gf on choosing the right tv for streaming apps and 120hz next gen gaming nay of the 3 tv will do including s95c. new subs you really did great on this review keep it up. I always have you notifications button. godbless mate
Glad to hear! and yes this will be great for gaming and streaming apps. The C3 is probably just a little lower than this tv and the G3 is probably better. G3 is a lifestyle and alot better. Either one is great so you wont be making the "wrong" decision.
When you watch a movie with DOlby vision and HDR side by side you will notice a massive difference in brightness in DV even in dark scenes, i have a c2 and experienced that, movies are lot better in DV...
It's not a true 144hz panel. Game mode doesn't look good and neither support motion interpolation while running in those modes. Use standard mode with motion interpolation for games. Input lag in still low.
it is a 144hz panel, does it make that big of a difference, not if you using a ps5 thats limited to 120, Its cool for me because im used to gaming on 144hz so it has similar motion feel to it when I was watching it.
@@WaltsTV oh, right on. I wasn't impressed with 120hz when compared to motion interpolation, but I am becoming more picky about input lag. I don't think the S95C officially supports 140hz, at least I don't believe the user manual mentions it. Not sure why though.
@@phillydavison yeah, maybe that was a bit off. Lol I didn't think the manual indicates it being a true 144hz TV . and if manufactures could just lower the input lag, MI is way better than 120l140hz imo.
8K is the bulshit is so expensive for today they don't have 8K not work with 8K normal because you don't have nothing to sae you don't have strong format hardware software panel quality is only 8 10 bit you ned 12 16 panel bit to do it 🙃
If any gamers on here are looking to buy this TV to use with the PS5, BEWARE that the one connect box is having issues with the PS5. It’s all over Reddit and the Samsung community blog. I am hoping Samsung can resolve this issue because I love the TV but I am a gamer and I cannot game in peace while having intermittent “flickering” with this TV turning on and off repeatedly and randomly. I wish this review had mentioned this issue because at the time of purchasing, none of the reviews I watched mentioned this issue.
has it been tested wit different cables? or do people just assume its the one connect. One thing people dont realize is that type of issue can be caused by a low quality or faulty HDMI cable. Thats why for gaming specifically I have myself audio quest cables.
@@WaltsTVit doesn't come down to hdr10+. The S95C has major gaming issues with dropouts/blackscreens. The one Connect Box is the issue, the Panel is good. Samsung needs to upgrade/fix the One Connect Box.
@@WaltsTVit is because of the insane brightness from the colors, the reds are reds the blues are blues and the greens are greens, which have color pop, along with true blacks, each indvisual pixel pops
Don't buy this set! It has major issues with gaming, lot of dropouts/blackscreens, limited HDMI 2.1 bandwidth (40 vs 48gbps). Samsung needs to upgrade the one connect box or u will have lots of issues while gaming. Do ur research before u buy any Samsung TVs!
Bollocks. The Series X peak bitrate is 40Gbps, the PS5 is only 32Gbps. The only time you're going to potentially have *any* issues with bottlenecks is if you're using an RTX 4090 topping out at 144hz 2160p and if you're one of the .01% of people in that boat, there are workarounds. The reports of dropout/handshake issues are completely anecdotal and only affect a tiny percentage of owners - to the point that their issues are just as likely to be caused by a bad cable/standard manufacturing defect as they are by an inherent design flaw. If the issues were as widespread as you seem to assume they were, HDTV Test or RTings would have been able to reproduce them - they haven't. Your comment is a prime example of people absently parroting any old crap they read online (usually posted by LG fanbois) without doing their research.
@@coliander4180 It's a widespread issue with the S95C, the Net is full of reports. The issue is also present while using a PS5 or Series X. According to some reports it seems like that Samsung fixed the issue with the latest Revision (Sets build after April) of the S95C, so it was most likely a "Design flaw".
@@acehoodman it wasn't widespread at all. You can find just as many reports of the C2/3 doing the same thing. People just assume that the OC Box is at fault because it couldn't *possibly* be due to user error/crappy cables. Are you speaking from first-hand experience with an S95C, or are you just repeating unsubstantiated claims you've read online?
Probably true but it will cost way more than the s95c and lg g3 which willl have great discounted sales, but the a95l will still be quite expensive since it released so late so it won't have near as good black friday prices.
Sorry the Samsung he's no good no the best TV of the year is not be good LOL problem update not calibrate the color of the panel Lotto equality is too much red and purple not HDR no Dolby vision beald quality is not so good 🙃🤔😫
