@@gokhan7482, it should, my Panasonic plasma, is 12 yrs old, and still going strong, which is why I haven’t run out and bought something !! It’s also easy to use, turn it on and watch, no, go to vivid, professional, hdr, etc, etc !!! Just a good picture !!!
@@dougnykel7693 Yep... LG customer service is far superior than Samsung. I had an issue with the remote after 2 years and they immediately gave me a new one! My LG B series is over 5️⃣ years old and still going strong! 🙏
Read about it - plethora of unresolved issues on Sony, and G4 processing is close match to Sony. Taking into account price difference Sony is absolutely not worth it.
@@jezza6575 either you have g4 or it doesn’t apply. Beside that Sony desaturates colors at low brightness and crashes shadow details. Sorry not paying premium for that. It’s a fact not an opinion
That’s a quick overview - but processing on G4 is superior to Samsung. Still no smooth gradation there so when presented with lower bitrate content you will see really nasty gradation. Unfortunately matte screen is more often bad than good imho. If you have light controlled room won’t be an issue though.
@@floz9718 the glossy screen vs matte , the processing, Dolby vision build quality feels like I got what I paid for vs the Samsung . G4 won me over how smooth it is lower bit rate playback
Not a bad comparison but you missed comparing one of their biggest differences (based on other reviews I have seen), image processing including low-bit content and upscaling. Apparently LG is doing MUCH better in the area of processing with their newest models. Also, LG dropped ATSC 3.0 tuners from their new TVs going forward. Important for people wanting to use over-the-air antennas.
Wait until you play HDR content on the Samsung TV. Every color is off, and there are many shadows when objects move quickly. The waterfall looks blurry.
If you're PC gaming though you'll be limited by the one connect box on the Samsung since it uses DSC, so you won't be able to use features like Nvidia DLDSR. Also the S95D doesn't come in 83" so if you're sitting at least 10 feet away, then the G4 is going to be the better option. Also the game mode on the G4 is perfect now compared to earlier models where the colors became slightly washed out. Both TVs are amazing though and you really can't go wrong with either.
I love the LG remote. It's pointing 👉 device is amazing ❤️ and the fact you can flush mount it to the wall! LG OLED are leaders in the OLED technology. I would definitely go for the LGG4 83" if I had the choice!
Samsung is the leader of oled technology, your iPhone pixel ipad, and even all the samsung phones, etc, since 2002 samsung has been making oled, and even tv Samsung and Sony made the first oled tvs before LG. LG made woled for tv. Now thier is qd oled which is superior rgb oled compared to lgs woled
Glossy tv screens are so tacky looking. Cinema screens are NOT glossy reflective screens. The Samsung looks more cutting edge and much more cinematic to me.
There isn’t poor color volume there just more color volume with the Samsung it’s not for me to look like I’m watch everything as a cartoon . The colors on the g4 are all I need and love
No... Samsung has more color and brighter... than LG RGBW pixels where W pixel make colors blue and dark in gamma... LG just swith colors down... Sony Samsung has more and it is just better... if you don't want cartoon make a calibration...
I don't have a G4 but I have a G3 and no matter what picture settings I use, the S95D in store looked way better and more three dimensional. Didn't like the matte finish though
Yall need to get realistic. Always comparing. Listen woled is old and colors washed out in brightness and low saturation compared to qd oled. It's brighter colorful just better
You had me at 'NON-reflective' with the Samsung. Apple started the glossy screen revolution with their iMacs ages ago (because humans...like birds, like glossy things), & we're still paying the price of that illogical & even idiotic devolution...so this is about time. Are we not men?!
@@jezza6575 It can still be an interesting for some. Technology used in the panel is important for sure but there are also customers who would prefer other then an OLED TV. And it is also interesting to compare top of the line products regardless technology used inside.
I did consider B9 but few points: - brightness difference is negligible- highlights are dimmer, only high APL scenes shine on B9 - micro contrast of Oled still unbeaten - in many scenes - albeit not all - you can see Sony as quite a bit washed out contrast - off angle viewing - 30 degrees off and you start noticing - if you won’t watch tv from that angles ever you won’t notice but if you will it might bother you - loss of color, color shift, blooming.
@@whitecrowuk575 details in bright and dark areas are much better on the Bravia 9. Micro contrast won't be as good but there's no blooming whilst the local dimming system is top notch.
I finally got to see both TVs , definitely more impressed by the G4, that matte screen makes the blacks look grey, also the depth of picture is significantly better on G4, the s95d looks very flat in comparison, I do however appreciate Samsungs first attempt to prevent the reflection, hopefully that tech will improve with time, the thing that really impressed me with the G4 was the the pop of hdr, my god that thing is bright, also the colour volume was significantly better than my CX
@@TVAVTech No retired IT Director actually, i’m only going based on what I saw in Currys in the UK, both TVs were impressive but the LG seemed better to me just my opinion. There’s no need to get salty, I actually owned a Samsung S 95C last year, initially I was very impressed by it until it started doing the signal loss and black screens playing games, the one box is a nightmare, many other people experience this problem as documented on the Internet I ended up getting a full refund. I do accept that QD OLED is superior when it comes to HDR colour but Samsung software and quality control leave a lot to be desired. I couldn’t care less who I buy a TV from I’ve even considered looking at other makes like Hisense who seem to be making good grounds, alternatively the Sony 95L looks excellent
@kevspirit1848 I'm from the UK. I spend more time than you do with these TVs in store. Especially on Currys where we have it next to each other. Played lots of content on and 4000 nits content from RU-vid on film maker mode after taking the samsung out of retail mode. Everyone who works in curry and customers love samsung better in accurate mode. I sold over 250 s95c to customers last year, and I swear none of them came back with any of these issues you're talking about. The people who have made up these issues were a random guy on youtube who knew one trust and some comments, not a single proof from anyone. You probably can't prove it to me bc u won't be posting the video of this issue because there isn't one, and no one will refund tv in the UK after you have it for a month in the UK. Especially not currys and John Lewis because I work in this field. Last year, samsung was better than lg in the real blind TV shootout by Vincent FROM HDTVTEST. BETTER MOTION THAN SONY AND PANASONIC AND LG WAS LAST.
@kevspirit1848 you do that then. If you had said they both trade blows with each other, then I would have listened to your opinion, but you decide to brand bash a superior rbg display with an inferior wrgb display. The only problem with S95D was that Samsung didn't give it the same love as qn900d. Which infact has the best processor, which is as good as the Sony. In fact, you can disable over scan on eco mode, which makes the S95D low bit rate upscalling better, which most reviewers haven't done, and the only thing going for LG or Sony.
if i can’t watch tv peacefully, its not worth it. Oled = stress. You have to be careful and watch out to not get pixel burn-in. This should be an ad for lcd tv’s😃
