Samsung's Unusual New Gadget... 

It is not everyday I've been interested in a projector but since I seen the commercials, I was very very interested to see how this would work. I want to see this work in a variety of conditions in real life.

I don't have a TV in my bedroom so I am very interested in this. I can project to any wall I want and watch. Can unplug it and bring it to the kitchen, bring it with me on a trip or anything. Projector but so small and so convenient to set up. Definitely a fan

I hope they make it capable to connect it to a console. It'd be nice to play games with this projector.

I ended up buying one, we connect it to Bluetooth speakers and watch movies outside with the kids. It's so bright and awesome even on the garage door. We have def pushed the limits of its screen on our blow up outdoor screen and never lose brightness and sharpness of our video and photos! So fun. We are still discovering all the features!

The product is very unique, would have never thought that Samsung would make a projector. Great video as always.

At some point i thought Samsung is losing innovation on smartphones, boom.....the projector. Wow!

I wish you mentioned the brightness in lumens, the resolution, and whether the colours look washed out. But the ability to auto adjust the image from any angle is definitely a huge leap forward in the technology. Do we know yet if the device is capable of drawing power through the socket adapter?

At 500 lumens you're going to need a basically pitch black room for that to be a good picture. Realistically using this in anything other than the dead of night outside is pretty unlikely

This would be great for my students in my class. We have projectors we use, and to focus to get clear pics and finding space is very hard. This would definitely be a game charger for work. I could change classes and take it with me to different rooms, especially now during this pandemic period.

Never thought that I'd want a projector and knowing that I don't need it! 😂

My only gripe with these is the loud fans required to keep it cool.

This is just wow . Perfect accessory to fit in the room to have ps5 late night sessions .

First thing I've pre-ordered in YEARS! I will use it as my main TV, but if it sux in daylight I will probably send it back. I don't expect it to look as good as my 2016 OLED ($5000 when it was new), but if it's good enough to be watchable I won't care that much about the quality.

I would use this for the million dollar NFT I “save as”.

Looks convenient to have auto keystone and whatnot. A bit expensive perhaps? I'd love these devices to drop in the 500 dollar range.

Interesting you switched to a proper projection board for the rest of the video, was it too dim directly on the wall ?

How does it perform in normal light ? Not good I suppose.. so you have to be in almost complete darkness for better visual ...

I had decided to reserve mine but then discovered from other RU-vid content creators that the features of this projector are lackluster for the price compared others available on the market.

I was hoping you'd mention the display quality? And also test out the auto background colour adjustment - apparently if you have a blue wall (or any colour) it compensates for the colour so you so don't have to have a white screen/wall. Looks great so far though

Just purchased and use it on my deck against my house side. The brightness and clarity are unmatched. This has transformed our outside space!

As much as I love Samsung and usually love Unbox Therapy. They fail to mention there are portable projectors out there at twice the capability and half the price of this gimmicky projector, all in one portable projector is not a new thing.

Wanna buy it just so I can read while laying down on my bed and not have to hold up my phone

Soon it will be the norm, for every wall in your house to be a screen. Kind of like the morning breakfast scene in 'Total Recall'.

Does that weigh significantly more than a lightbulb? Some people have very dodgy light fittings and I can see a lightgate scenario happening. Edit: it weighs 0.8KG. Here in the UK the maximum weight for a bulb is 3KG so should be ok.

Im mostly curious about the bluetooth ... I burned through probably 10 different portable projectors and many price ranges. So many had blue tooth issues, delays in audio, terrible sound, etc. I eventually swttled on a more expensive version and had to run a wire to my bose revolver.

Depending on few factors this has potential for physical tv's to eventually be phased out. If it comes to the point in a few years where this device, can essentially replicate a physical t.v. and price rivals, this really could kick off. However...Samsung in 2020 sold a good few million tv's and between 2013 and 2019 where number one t.v. manufacturer, so it would be foolish to abolish something they excel at. Another possibility is pc gaming using this instead of monitors. Concept is very good will be interesting to see how it unfolds next few years.

What they should do is pair them up, so that you can put 2 “together” like one in each corner pointing at the same wall, and you get either 200” or double the lumen!! THAT WOULD SELL!!

My concerns would be how bright it is and if it really can 'keystone' itself in tight and angled positions. Can it get to 100" as close as 1m from the wall?
