The camera of Samsung is super powerful, I dont think the lens are really protected by any of the case shown. There is a case where camera has a sliding cover like Nillkin. But its not as powerful as otterbox or UAG. I just hope otterbox or UAG will create a case where it has a camera sliding cover when not in use
I'm kind of liking the OtterBox Strada leather case the ghost texts are also very good looking it's really tough call they all seem like great phone cases
Got the Samsung leather case ($60-70) and it was total trash. Became discoloured within a month and by 3 months was totally unusable. Customer service didn't offer any refund or replacement. Despite how nice their cases are, highly advise against getting any of their cases
I liked the idea of the see thru ghostek with the aluminum frame and have had it on my Note 8 since it came out. Only downfalls I have noticed are a decrease in reception in medium to poor reception areas and the anodizing fading/wearing after a few months use.
My experience with the Samsung case was not successful. My phone was scratched from the inside, due to the entry of dust and friction, in addition to that it does not protect the corners strongly, and both corners were scratched, despite the presence of the most expensive protective case in the market. I do not recommend it to anyone.
I just purchased an S21 with an option to return it after 24 months, so obviously I need a really good case so there is no damage when I want to return it. If I use a really good case do you still recommend a screen protector.
Just ordered my supcase. For my s21 5g. I had a Note5 with the supcase that lasted me until this last month. Had to upgrade my phone, but no complains with my supcase. But I used to be an otterbox fan but after it broke my S6 back in the day. I sat on my phone and I say the case broke it because I've made that mistake many times that the phone is in my back pocket and with out a case I never broke a phone even when I had my note 5 in the supcase never broke it and I'm a heavy dude. You should check it out. Maybe do a review on those supcases. And only problem I see on the aluminum ghostek might be moisture but it looks cool. Great video by the way.
Not as good with the 21 ultra. Issues with the holster clip which the holster was the only reason I haven't switched to the Monarch yet. Almost went with the unicorn beetle pro. May still get it given it's lower price.
I got an ONN case for my s21 Ultra. I dont like the feel or the fact that I cannot stick a ring to the grainy surface and no magnet for wireless charging :/
@@OriqinLCinema it depends on the case I suppose. I rotate between the speck presidio grip2 and the samsung silicone pen case and the phone isn't much bigger with either case on
Yep,depends on the case. The atomic slim adds more bulk and weight bc it's aluminum whereas a rhinoshield case adds almost none bc it's slimmer plastic
@@jonburrows9816 If it has a curved edge screen, I would say yes. I used to love UAG. I have had them since my Note 2. The problem is, the case doesn't go high enough around the sides to protect from impacts. I have now purchased the Unicorn Beetle pro and it seems to protect more. The edges of the case sit just a little higher than the screen, so it's a little better, but I don't know if it's even enough. I just think curved edges are a bad idea if you need your screen protected.
@@TheJabberTech thx. I ordered a screen protector to find that it was a film protector and not glass. Do you have an opinion on them? It doesn't seem like it would do much else other than stop scratches. My Samsung S21 ultra also came with a tear off screen protector and a further thin screen protector. Are you meant to remove that one or are they designed to be a decent level of protection? Thx

I love that camo UAG case! I'm definitely getting that for my son for Christmas, he'll love it !! He works in construction but has it in his pocket at work (unless using phone). Think it will be tough enough for him? He's bored with OtterBox after using it for several years lol. If fact would I be better getting him that camo UAG or a Rhino shield carbon fiber case? Please let me know your thoughts, please.
I have the defender pro and it has the raised edges on top & bottom and so does my back up regular defender. It even showed both with raised edges on OtterBox website when I bought them. I can assure you both defender & defender pro have raised edges on the S21 ultra case.
Commuter doesn't scratch your brand new 1200 phone like the defender & defender pro hard plastic shell does ,most ppl don't notice until you take your otterbox case off
Jesus talk about a paid promo 🤣 Love the fisrt 2 The samsung case is dire in terms of protection for what they charge ur basically paying for the pen thats it The first 2 cases ok if i dropped my phone id be fairly comfortable my phones ok that samsung case is just about making money there zero protection on the front edges and i mean none If u have to biy a screen protector then the case is semi redundant
