Samsung S7 dead motherboard repair - part 2 

And you my friend are a genius with a heat gun! I fixed my SAMSUNG S7 ACTIVE from a dead phone into working again, I did not take apart the housing for the processor on the board, I only applied heat for 10 seconds or less until very hot and then put it back together, it worked. These processors sometimes need a little refreshing. Amazing! Thank you so much! I will be studying on learning how to reflow laptops I have two right now needing it. I also bought a multimeter so I can learn more about current and help diagnose better! Congrats! I truly appreciate it!

took the board off and fixed it with a 2300w hairdryer for 60s !!!! Thank you sooooooooo much The repair guy said it's CPU's problem and can't be fixed lol

God bless you mate. I just fix my S7 by your way. Even i was in couple of repair shops and the refuse to fix it because is old and not worth it. I use normal heating soldering iron. I know that is risky and not correct because had risk of overheating but exactly that helps. Before to try this the phone just freeze on the logo. Now everything works. Big respect for your job man 🍺🍻

I did the same today - and it worked also - i had pulled the phone s7 edge from a PC while it was reading a picture and charging - it tried to restart then had fixed blue light - no response - i left it to die- took like a month - swapped the battery but still no response - i saw this and used my hot air until the solder melted as i touched the big cap next to the chip and it moved a little bit - that was enough - and to my amazement - it now works again - thank u so much -

When device sometimes has message screen saying installing system update, bypass it by pressing and holding power button until the device powers on. Hope this helps for future reference.

What hot air temperature do you use and how much air flow? I'm struggling to resolder chips using 350 C or 375 C. I takes me more than a minute to get them moving. In your video it takes few seconds, what's the magic?

Hallo being watching and loving your channel , I just have a question what is the hot air temperature you use on your phone PCB ? sometimes I get Ic's on the other side of the board that the solder would bubble out on the sides killing the phone I use 400 degree in my quick850

I just tried to repair my phone and destroyed it even more. My heat gun takes alot of time (on 360 oC) until chip is unsoldered and I have pressed too much on chip and squeeze tin below the chip outside.

Hi, this is my first time using soldering iron. do I need the (hot air station)? can i use JUST the soldering iron instead of gun iron? if yes, how can I use soldering iron because it is my first time, so do i need to let the iron touch the surface or on the air to melt the Rosin Paste, and for how long? do i need to let the soldering iron heat for how long before using it?

Can I ask you something please? My Samsung 7 died. It will charge, but it will not turn on. The repair shop said it was the motherboard. I already bought a new phone. It is a Samsung 20fe. I kept the same phone number and the same carrier Rogers. What my problem is is that I lost access to my RU-vid channel through my phone because I never wrote down the RU-vid channel password or email, so I cannot get on to my RU-vid channel without the direct access that I get from it through my phone. Question is: if I fix my motherboard and put in my new SIM card from my new phone will I again have access to my RU-vid channel? I did make a new channel, but I still want the old one back and am willing to pay money to do so despite my channel being lame and not a money maker.

SO you just took the metal plate off, and put liquid solder on the chips in the power supply? I have some liquid solder at my work, that usally is around 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Now is that too hot? or what do you recommend?
