Thanks ABT. The fact that this TV, alone, has an "analogue audio out" simplifies my need to connect my subwoofer. Bravo Samsung! Samsung will get my money this year. So will ABT. Thanks again.
@@neo4102 You certainly could. I have a jerry-rigged connection currently. On my 2018 LG C8 (with the green blob), I use the optical out, connected to an audio extractor, connecting my Golden Ear subwoofer to it's RCA output. An optical splitter also connects to my LG eclair soundbar. This barely works. Although this work-around creates a nice sound, I can't use the volume control for the subwoofer. If Mute the TV, I can still hear the subwoofers. At night, I can't turn down the volume of the subwoofer with the TV remote control. I have just ordered the Sennheiser Ambeo Plus soundbar, which has it's own subwoofer output. This should solve my issue. I will no longer need to depend on the TV manufacturers to provide an analogue output, I hope. Let's see.
Which is better: the S90C or the QN90/85C? For me the tv would be opposite some windows so I’d be worried about brightness and glare, and of course burn in since it’s an OLED.
I know this comment is a couple weeks old and may not be relevant anymore, but I can add my personal experience if it helps. If your living room TV area has multiple light sources and/or direct light on the screen, a QLED TV may be a better option. If you have a way to block out most of the light or do the majority of TV watching at night, get an OLED. The picture quality really isn't even close. As far as burn in, don't worry about it. These aren't OLEDs from 2010. I've used an LG CX as my only computer monitor for the past 3 years with heavy usage and no image retention whatsoever.
@@jessepotter365 Hey man, thanks for the response. Yeah I have a lot of light in my room, and for that reason I went with the QN85C (though I’m still well within the exchange window). I’m happy with it for the most part, and was blown away when I watched Guardians of the Galaxy 2 last night. The brightness and the colors and the vibrancy made it look unreal, I was really blown away! My only complaint is that it seems like it doesn’t upscale low quality content well, especially in FuboTV. When I watch the Celtics and ESPN the picture looks a little fuzzy and not clear. That’s the only thing I’m looking to remedy.
Thanks for your thoughtful review. I tried the different visual standard preset settings like Dynamic etc and So far I prefer video settings on Filmaker and Warm 2 and everything looks great just perhaps a shade dim and colors could be a bit brighter. I don’t know whether to try and remedy this through individual picture settings like brightness and tint or are those nullified by having Filmaker on? Any comment/advice would be appreciated.
Just a question please anyone I ordered this tv for delivery but can anyone please tell me…. Is the power cable captive to the tv or does it plug into the tv? And lastly How long is the cable if it IS captive to the tv please?? Im just mapping out the wall for cable holes Thank you so much for your help people Cheers 👍🏻
My nephew noticed my purchased in may 2023 samsung 9 C series tv was noticably super darker than my 2019 LG TV he paid me $ 200 to take it off my hands he s ok for " super darker he called it Im not... backnin may samsung was super sharp wow now it s not spoke to samesung tech help didnt help.... I m back using my LG only good thing about Samsung was a sensitive next gen tuner 11 channels ct nyc market. would like to hear from otgers if same issue accured
Is there a reason why when I use native apps and watch content in hdr, that picture preset stays when I switch to sdr too. I want standard for sdr but filmmaker hdr and can’t get it to switch.
@blkoutaccord It's most likely because the picture settings are based on the input you're on. Since you're on the same input (because you're using native apps) when you switch between HDR and SDR it's keeping the same settings.
Just purchased this and set it up. Was told that the cursor can be used but can’t seem to find it in settings. Any ideas how I can do this. Thanks. Great review.
@Nufcgilly We appreciate the kind words. Not sure about a cursor on Samsung TVs outside of when you're using the web browser. LG TVs with the Magic Remote have a cursor that pops up on the screen that you can move around by pointing the remote. Regardless, this is a great looking TV! We hope you enjoy it!
I just bought one and I love the way it looks. The only thing I'm disappointed with is the speakers. You have to raise the volume to like 50 just to make it sound loud enough.
@ismailyavuz9586 There are several mounts that are compatible. Give us a call at 800-860-3736 and one of our experts can help you find exactly which one will work best for your setup.
Hello every one, I own the s95B and I want to sell it to get the S90C amd my concern is the brighness so just to know is the s90c a little more brighness than the s95b?
@hastensavoir7782 There are several reasons. S95C has better built in audio, better HDR, better factory calibration for the picture, Freesync Premium Pro vs Freesync Premium, and a One Connect Box. But if you're not a gamer and you don't need the One Connect Box, the S90C is a great way to save some money and still get a terrific picture.
S90c in 77in punches wayyy above its class and its wayyy over-looked. Im so impressed by mine LoL I cant stop ranting about it and I truly never donthst about anything. Its just such a nice TV. I mean it really really is. As long as your happy with your TV, who even cares? Lol just sayin
@@JohnS858 do you constantly annoy your household by repeatedly saying how great it is like “did you see that?!” “Look @ the rich bold colors!” “Such contrast! OMG!” 😅🥹
Hey Abt, my tv setup is opposite windows and the room gets pretty bright during the day. Is that a reason to get a QLED and not an OLED or does the additional brightness of the QD-OLED sets make them more of an option in this case?
@imaginillyar3572 It works well as a PC monitor, but remember not to leave static images on the screen for long periods of time as they can cause burn in.
@sdsdvdproductionstravelvlo8576 It's hard to say. It looks like the S92C is made for Europe so we don't have access to it here in the United States. The only thing we could find different was the color of the bezel and pedestal. The S90C is Titan Black and the S92C is Carbon Silver.
I bought an S90C yesterday. Hate it. It hurts my eyes with the unrealistic garish colours. Been constantly trying to adjust it to get something that's comfortable to watch but so far to no avail. Definitely need a soundbar as it sounds like people are stuck in a box and speaking in to a tin can.
@mario312 It can be hung on the wall. The size of the screen will determine which mounts will work the best. If you need help finding the right one be sure to contact our home theater experts at 800-860-3736.
Hi, if I buy this TV and the Samsung 990C which don’t have HDMI2.1, how can I connect my PS5, apple TV4k, Cable Box etc and not miss out on the 2.1 features? Can I just plug all of them to the TV first and then to the 990C or will I miss some features etc? Lastly, can this TV Remote or the 990C remote control the TV+Soundbar+cable box??? I don’t want to use 2 remotes please
So far I’m having not but challenges with and Samsung support was mega terrible. Can’t get any of my remotes or Sammy remote to learn the sources even though I have HDMI 2.1a cables . Very bad so far

This is my first time buying a nice TV. I play video games on the most recent Xbox and watch sports. Is the s90c good for both? I hate watching TVs and there is a lag behind the ball and want to make sure that’s not an issue before purchasing. Thank you!
@miker7286 The S90C would be great for gaming and watching sports. Feel free to give our TV experts a call for help at 800-860-3736 if you have more questions. We're always happy to help!
@pandar3n459 Officially from Samsung, no, this does not support G-Sync. However, we have seen previous Samsung models that stated the same thing and did work with G-Sync features.
The S90C is lottery, AFAIK. You may get one of the new panels, you may get one of the old ones from the S95B which were prone to burn in. Also, the performance is limited to the S95B performance it seems, so image quality on the S95C especially in terms of brightness should be better. The S90C is nothing but a S95B in a new dress and with minor improvements, and much too expensive for that.
77in. S90c is the best price/features. And its SUCH a good TV. If find it hard for someone to he UN-happy with it unless there money isnt an issue and just want the best G3, Sony newest, Or s95c. Yeaaa 😊
previously bought may 2023 now Nov 2023 my 9 S series samsung now pixles distorted darker than original install date glad I kept my LG 65 2019 my nephew took it he limes darker I donot attempted factory reset panel reset still no better
@joe10117 If it was purchased from an authorized dealer then it should still be under the manufacturer's warranty. If it was purchased from Abt please send your contact information to us at youtube@abt.com and we can have one of our technicians reach out to try and get this figured out.
@@ty-jq2di The way these panels work you can either get good skin tones, but then everything else looks bad, or everything else looks good but skin tones are off.
