I would suggest Maybe removing the word “black screen” from the title of this video to help eliminate misdirection! As you could see from the top rated comment this doesn’t help people with a black screen 🤷🏽♂️
This is why getting rid of dislikes was dumb. I specifically searched for a video on how to reset a samsung tv with no picture. This video was the first to come up, because its included in the title. Then the video only works for someone with a working screen.
Come ON! You have the words, "No Picture," and "Black Screen," right in the title of your video. If I can't see the screen, how can I possibly reset it, using a remote. I do appreciate the effort, however.
If you have a black screen how are you supposed to see all this? I have a black blinking blank screen and I can hear the sound but there's nothing else. It Happened One evening and I tried the reset automatically and it did not work. So I'm just curious how are you supposed to do all the things you're showing if you can't see the screen?
Bro I can’t believe that this fixed my tv. I thought my tv was broken for the past couple of months cause the top half of the screed was darker than bottom half. Thanks a million dude, you’re a legend!
Thank you for the video but it hasn't helped (i don't like to give anyone a thumbs down to be honest). I have a Samsung TU7000 60 Inch TV (sitting in front of it as I type this)...this is my dilemma: The screen shuts off, a moment or two later, it shuts on, but just a little lighter than black (like you know the TV is on) and you hear the audio, but about no more than two seconds later, it shuts off and it repeats that pattern. I am just trying to make my family happy by the Grace Of God. Can anyone help? I'm here waiting and willing to do whatever it takes.
Doesn't work. 75" Samsung Q95T with a dark bar on one side of the screen. 2mths out of warranty & Samsung don't want to know about it. Tried every suggestion I could find, reset picture, soft reset, hard reset, factory reset, left it unplugged for 24hrs, still the same. $5K tv f**ked in 2yrs. Not happy
Horrible and misleading caption. This video will attract many who are trying to fix their Samsung TVs that HAVE NO PICTURE and this isn’t a solution for that.
Brother you can't see shut on the TV it's black it can't turn on or off, with the remote control unplug it,it comes off, plug it back in its comes on but go right back to black screens
Hi thank you for the tip the screen was black but I had sound I darkened the room and shone a flashlight at the screen and could see the image so I went to menu settings picture scrolled down to picture reset while pointing the flashlight at the screen back came the picture good as ever I will leave it on now in case there is an issue when it heats up this is a samsung thanks again and thanks to the university of u tube and to all those people who post how to fix videos
@@mideymj I tried it and you have to put the light right on the TV. I could only see a tiny portion of the screen at a time so it took me forever to even find Settings. Plus if you don't keep the screen active the menu times out and closes. After I finally got to Reset I had to enter my passcode which I think was 0000, then there were some words scrolling at the bottom of the screen that I couldn't make out because I could only see a tiny portion. So the menu timed out and went away. Ugh! If you have any luck let me know if you have any tips.
@@mideymj I gave up on my TV too but didn't give up on Samsung, upgraded to a 55". Mine was 8 years old and never gave me a single problem before this so I figured that was a pretty good run.
@@cidley3196 Samsung is good quality and east to use. My biggest challenge was in here there is no spare parts to fix the Samsung tv :(((. My 65 Inc Samsung tv is in store.. till I get a new display
Smart TV isn’t so smart, having this problem. And the manufacturers need to go back to the drawing board. This is an extremely common issue with smart TV’s. Paid $699./Sony Bravia. And the manufacturer warranty expired and 2 weeks later, this happens 🥺
I have a Samsung UN46D6003 tv and can only switch the tv on and off by plugging in and unplugging the power cord. The tv is stuck on one channel, at one volume, can't access any of the menus on the tv, etc. None of the settings can be accessed either with a remote (even with changing the batteries on the remote - I tried using 3 different Samsung remotes, including the remote that came with the tv) or by pressing the 'buttons' on the tv. When the remote buttons are pressed the remote sensor light on the tv flashes rapidly like it's supposed to. I also did the cell phone camera check on the remotes and the 'signal' lights on them work as well. Does anyone know what the problem is an any advice on what part needs to be changed? Thanks.
Why on earth did this work? Lmao. I’ve been looking for the solution to the problem I’ve been having for over a year, and this… somehow…? Worked? My problem, in case it helps anyone else, is when the screen stays black and flickers white when you go to turn it on, and have to wait thirty minutes for it to turn on.
Bro my dad thinks someone is trying to hack us and if he’s right I’m mad as hell bro cuz I can’t watch my show Baki it’s keeps going black and then coming back on and also I hate watching football on this tv smh
Yes sir tell me how my post to do that when I power on in the screen is black, so how do I go to that setting on the remote if the screen is black which I can’t see what I’m clicking on the remote if the screen is black
Iv an app called wrc it's for motorsport TV where i pay 10 quid to watch live. But when I go into it and press on live my screen is black and not responding. It only let's you exit. It's annoying because I can watch other apps like Netflix etc. If I reset the tv would it work or is the app itself Broke because I can watch on my phone
Umm hi i have this problem on my tv every second the screen turns a little dark and has a purple/red line on top of my tv display can someone solve this issue or somethin??
It took about 4 minutes for me. I did the reset twice then it was still black so I unplugged the HDMI cable to leads to the external Samsung box. Nothing happened so I went into the kitchen and suddenly heard the sound click on. I could see the TV guide but all channels were black with no sound. But weather it was the reset or the unplug it worked.
