Thanks for the video, this is really helpful and informative. I have a QLED with partial backlight failure, one section has turned much darker than the rest which is sad to see on a 4 year old TV.

Thank you for the short, straight-to-the point, helpful video! As of a few days ago, my TV's backlight decided to only work whenever it feels like it. It's not completely burned out or broken because it does work occasionally and when it does, it will continue to work perfectly fine for hours, for as long as you keep the TV on. No flickering or any other issues, just a perfectly normal functioning TV. Until you turn the TV off.. because when turning it back on again, it's pretty much a gamble of whether or not the backlight will decide to work. It often takes multiple attempts to get the backlight to work again. It's not a Samsung but I'll see if the link can be of any help.

Thank you . Informative video indeed. How about when a tv has got blue light bleeding across it. Do you suppose its backlight led issue?

For the "half screen dark" issue. Is it a line down the center or does it fade to black? I've got a tv that half the screen is black but it fades over a like an inch or two.

my 65 Samsung keeps burning the right side led I've changed the power supply and still burning them any solution please thanks

More often than not when I put the tv on the lcd sriips I believe that they’re called are horizontal up and down my screen. All the way across. And I need to shut everything d.iiv beeown and rest it .also some time when I put the tv on the screen is black but there is sound coming out . And last thing is some time when sometimes when put the tv on with remote ,it come on the o power off in a split second ,, and the tv maybe little bit over 5 yrs old. For a while th tv came on. By it self .
