OMG this is legit 😁 my remote control already working. I'm so very happy that i did coz i'm planning to buy one but when i watched your video, i save my money hehehe. Thanks a lot sir. 😍 I broke the lock in the side when i opened it but but it's okay because its working 100% 😀
Thank you so much for your instructions. It took a while to lever of the casing, but your vid gave me the confidence to keep at it and lo and behold, there was damp in the works. I gently wiped it dry with a paper towel (didn't think of using the hairdryer) and it now works a treat. ***
Omg. I was about to order new remote but you saved my money. Although I could open it but unable to close but it’s okay. Remote is working fine. I used tape to bind it. Thanks a lot
Thanks. The lesson you gave - got the remote working again. Could not believe how much "muck" was in the remote (although, been in the kitchen for a good few years). The cover was very difficult to remove which I put down to "muck" that had got inside and was acting as an 'adhesive'. Really fantastic to get it working again. Can't believe the down votes.
Thanks for this video. The first time thru, I did not heat it with the hair dryer, I was sort of afraid to melt the remote. But, after I assembled the remote, it did not function any better than before. So, I took the remote apart again and cleaned more with alcohol, hit it with the dryer for 5 minutes, then alcohol again on the board. There was more dirt that came off, but the alcohol evaporated promptly. When I assembled it the second time, it worked well, This TV and remote are in the kitchen. It was amazing how much cooking oil had entered the remote! I’m wondering, does the heat from the dryer warm the solder enough to “reconnect” it to working?
Thank you! Mine stopped working and after changing batteries was lit up, but did Nothing. None of the buttons or online "reset" instructions worked! Watched your video, took it apart, wiped a bit of moisture, cleaned and dried everything with paper towel, then fan, and it Now Works! Thank you! ❤
Thank you so very much, 4 the demonstration! Used the 91% rubbing alcohol, a coffee filter (less lint) hair dryer as shown & new batteries! WORKING!!!❤❤❤
Thank you it worked!!! But why heat the battery? Do I have to do that frequently? And the only problem is that the remote doesn't close properly at the front of the Led....😅
I can add to the chorus that this worked a treat. Couldn't believe how much gunk was in there in general, in addition to whatever one of the children spilled on it!
I have a question And I really need a answer So my remote controller also have a problem So I don't have those things to open the remote Can I also open it with a knife
I started with the Samsung site. Futile. In order to chat with a tech, I was supposed to sign up for advertising from everywhere Samsung touches. I could have done all of this without checking, but I was trying to get a heads-up for trip wires! Thank you, so much!
Ive got this problem that whatever I press It types "8" so I guess that button is jammed though I cant feel it being stuck. Tried to open it few times but nothing.. Wonder if theres anything I can do except buy a new one
I done this and worked...remove batteries hold in power button 60 secs and keep holding it in place the batteries back in while still holding the power on/off button.
Be careful! Doesn‘t work with remote AA59-00638A (with backlight button top right). Mine broke, because it is glued on the left side by manufacturer. Rest works fine. Maybe I 3D print myself a housing.
