I don't see an issue in comparing a phone. It's a device that people use for their performance, of course it's important to know what you're buying is worth the money.

Other companies don't understand it, but IOS is a huge factor too. No matter how good your phones will be, the system is what matters and makes using it fun and easy. IOS also doesn't force you to connect a google account to your phone

If you look closely you can see that the Samsung has cellular data while apple does not. The reason this matters is with it allows you to have better responsiveness from your device.
After all, the iPhone's signal is also a common complaint in mainland China, and the iPhone's baseband is so bad that there is almost no signal at all in the subway station.

And also this person comparing both of them, made sure to give Samsung a slight edge by having most of the apps freshly installed or not signed in. Whereas on Apple, they are signed in, meaning that they actually have to load content, which takes longer. The reason that the iPhone loses on pretty much each one is also due to its “parallax effect” where the app fills your Home Screen with an animation, then when you exit it, it does the same thing except the app fades back into the icon on the screen. Another reason the iPhone loaded 0.1 seconds slower is because of the checking process that happens while opening it, Apple essentially checks its a signed and working app then lets you in, which takes around 0.1s.

i hate how people argue about stuff like this, they are both good at different things, comparing iphone to something that samsung might to better, that's like saying that pc is better than laptop because it has more ports, there are other factors to compare.
