WrestlingInc.com interview with WWE alum, Samu, of the Headshrinkers. Samu discusses the legacy of Samoan wrestlers, winning the WWE Tag Team Title, being Roman Reigns' Godfather and more.
I remember meeting Samu around 2012 or 2013 at Radio Shack on Tilghman Street in Allentown. He was just coming in for a HDMI cable for his television. I kept looking at him and I saw his tattoos. I asked, "Are you Samu?" He said, "Yes, I am." He was a super pleasant guy. Him and I were talking about his professional wrestling career from Bob Backland to Yokozuna. I asked, "Do you still see Dwayne?" Samu said, "The Rock is always busy but when he's home; he's there." I'd say it was a good 20 minute conversation. He said, "Thank you for talking to me about my career. I'm humbled." I said, "I'm honored." He left the store. My boss said, "Who was that?" I said, "Samu from the Wild Samoans." My boss was besides himself.
