Bernie Mack was hilarious without effort. He was a natural. His TV show was family oriented and the show kept me engaged. His style as a comic had its own flavor. Steve needs to give Bernie his accolades; Bernie was much funnier to me.

Bernie Mac had my laughter and heart the first time he came to the stage on Comic View. He was tall, handsome and absolutely hilarious. His personality even in silence takes over the room. Steve probably had no choice but to be jealous. I mean he just can't compare. To this day there is no match.

I don’t hate Steve Harvey, just never understood how or why he’s as successful as he’s been. He was lucky that the other Kings of Comedy were carrying him. His later successes seem to come from his screwing over people. Based on the way he’s dealt with past relationships and treatment of children from those relationships, it’s not too hard to imagine.

I am 66 and living decently on SS, my best childhood friend told me Yeah you were everything in High School but look at us now You broke and I have plenty of money what would the people say now. Oh the venom was dripping in contempt and sarcasm. MAN that blew my wig wayyy back (chuckling). I think it flew off it hurt me so bad to hear that. It was true but why say it in this way. And I remembered my Mom Always saying She's jealous of you and I would not believe her. She saw it way back then. God took her out of my life thank goodness. Bernie Mac came to Sacramento, CA, in the mid-90s to do a show at Crest Theatre. A venue that is not our largest. He was on his game and could have sold out our largest venue. As usual, he was dressed very sharply and was extremely funny. After the show, Bernie stepped off the stage, where he greeted and thanked everyone who walked up to him. I went in for the hug, and he hugged me back like I was a lifelong friend he hadn’t seen in years. That was the Bernie Mac I met. Someone who I felt genuinely loved his fans as much as we loved him. And let me tell you, Bernie was built like a linebacker.

Missing Bernie Mac. So funny. Loved him in the 1st Transformers movie. LOL funny. Watched his show all the time. I can finally see why Harvey has such a beautiful daughter. Got the win on having a hot gorgeous wife.

Bernie was/is so beloved because no matter what, he was always REAL and GENUINE. Whether he was navigating life, or doing a stand up routine. The posthumous RESPECT he enjoys among his peers and the public is PROOF. "Rest with the ancestors" Bernie.
