Samurai Shodown VI - Arcade Mode/Story - Nakoruru 

Nakoruru that is purple has a different personality, different story mode opponents and a different ending. So from Samurai shodown 1 & 4, if you chose Nakoruru's purple colour, you'll notice how Nakoruru has a different facial expression from her regular image in game. In Samurai shodown 5 onwards, Nakoruru has no purple palette colours yet her alternate personality, Rera, wears purple. Rera is technically nakoruru other personality that just somehow becomes a character. The moves that nakoruru have in the purple variation isn't that different from her normal variation. Some will say that this version of nakoruru was a failed clone version of the original character and at this point it pretty much an inside joke among people that play samurai shodown that know of the characters history.

@@Rayuka thank you. I like her. I hope she would become a separate charater. Not a clone with same moveset of nakoruru or rera

@@birdy1964 well i don't think this version of nakoruru will make it because technically it's the same character. It possible though rera may come back.

@@Rayuka :). Let's just hope. Purple nakoruru has her own wiki page. And they say "she is a different charater from nakoruru and rera". But i think you're right. Development staffs may focus on design new charaters than bring back a clone to make a new charater

Thank you for clarifying! I was gonna ask for the same question about the difference among both... And also what does Rera has to do with Nakoruru... I really like Rera as a character but I'm afraid she's not going to come back in the new game... 😕

purple nakoruru is ss1/ss2 2p ver nakoruru.

The wolf Shikuru is with Rera... But he's also playable alongside with mamahaha in this game!
