Iron heart is my preference here simply because of the classic color combo that just pops and is fading beautifully .I’ve never had anything heavier than 15oz and even though in theory , I’d love to try a 25 oz pair , the climate here in Cape Town is simply not conducive to wearing heavy garments unfortunately, even now in our winter . Speedmaster looks great on your wrist and I’m still contemplating on getting one - not convinced yet on which way to go current reference or a vintage 321 movement one. Thanks for the great content .
I bought a pair of limited edition 25oz Samurai’s for Y4 because I loved the experience of my 25oz Iron Hearts. It’ll be really interesting to see the comparison! I’m going to get the Samurai’s hemmed and resized because the straight cut is just way too baggy. I know, blasphemy! But I just loved the slim straight cut of the 633!
Great video, I've only gone as high as 19oz so far. I did look at a pair of IH 25oz earlier this yr. So far I've resisted, after this maybe next Yr will be right.
I noticed the shirt change. You definitely have a soft spot for Samurai. As do I. I still havent gone to 25oz as of yet. It has to be the right pair and I want to slim down a bit first before getting a pair.
such a great video im fading my samurai water denim and as you would say they are 'starting to reveal their secrets!' was wondering do you put things in your front left or right pocket. ive noticed a chunky wallet and big phone affect the quality of my whiskering.
I would choose any time Samurai Jeans. They are the much more quality jeans in general. SJ have their own history. And because they are much more hard to get, they are More special. IH are way to expansive. They are one of the new school denim. The y also have Stores all over the world. It’s like commercial clothings. I would always choose Samurai jeans
Hello, thank you for the nice video. I bought a 25 oz Iron Heart today. Unfortunately, I don't understand English very well. Was it a good decision on my part? Can you give me some advice to get the best vintage style.
Well presented information. I just bought Bravestar 25 oz for $158. I believe they win the 2023 competition and I believe the fabric is made in the US. Thoughts?
I want some 25oz denim bit dont want to pay over $400. I missed the N&F 32oz. But they are working on a 40oz i will never be able to get. Unless I am working
weight is based on a certain square measurement of fabric, weave is based on the amount of tension applied to the fibers in the process of making the fabric and at what points in the process it is applied
I really love your enthusiasm! You love denim and we all feel your energy. I now got a 25 oz from Iron Heart. Man, so stiff at the beginning. How long does it take to break in until it starts to become a bit more comfortable?
Really depends in how much you wear them. The more you do, the faster they become like sweatpants. Usually a few months in you’ll really notice a difference. But it does take time. 👊👊👊
Bravestar won the fade competition last year if I’m not mistaken. Pants were worn by a blacksmith for a full year. The character overall was amazing. I think it was a well-deserved win by someone who actually “worked” a blue collar job. I’d love to hear Fjorde’s take
