i went to an electric fan years ago when the factory style fan clutches were super expensive and had temp control issues still, just went back to a new factory fan clutch and have ZERO cooling problems now

I've never had any good experience with those plate types of coolers. I only run tube a fin coolers now. Hood looks nice.

Paint the hood things you’ll probably get blinded by them due to the sun reflecting off of them

I’ve taken apart the coolant system on a samurai so many times that I can say the easiest way of removing and installing it is to have the shroud attached, with the fan sitting in the shroud. Set it all in there together and reattach the fan to the water pump!

The shroud alone will make it run cooler for sure!
