We're taking a look at the new Samyang 14mm f/2.8 MF Mark II lens, following on from a popular wide angle lens for many, this lens makes some nice upgrades to the build and design with features like the aperture ring (which can be declicked), the nicely weighted focus ring and the actual construction quality.

Hi. In all the web and social networks I cannot find milky ways made with this mark ii. Have you ever done astrophotography with it using this Sony version? Or do you have any sample sources? Want to know how good is in the corners. The reflex version is complete different in corners and edges...

Regarding filters there is a good option for Canon RF shooters. Get the EF version and use it with the filter adapter, then it's possible to put the filter in the adapter itself. Obviously only works for Canon RF shooters 🙂

Hmm so you didn't notice any weird wavy distortion I read a review of the original 14mm f2.8 lens on Ephotozine and it showed awful wavy distortion that was said to be impossible to correct due to the distortion literally being like a wave from side to side kind of looking the shape of a sinewave.

I can't with the old British accent. I study American history and what those people did to this country is deplorable. So his accent makes me feel nauseous. Not his fault 🤢
